How good is South American football on a deep level? We have very little opportunities to make solid comparisons.

Of course they have, but there are also teams below us in that list that at the moment i would back them to beat us. 109th is about right i'd say. but so much room for improvement. | | | |

Sure, it's going to be almost impossible for the stato's to apply exact formulas. Someone isn't taking into account how shit the league of Wales actually is. There is probably a decimal point out of place there somewhere!
Having said that its never going to work anyway. Man C smashed Liverpool for 5 last week but could go to Brighton the following week and come away with a 0-0.
Football is too unpredictable and illogical by its very nature. That's a big part of why it's so enjoyable. Hopefully, we can upset the statisticians and get a result against the ninth best team in the world on Saturday  | | | |

With the exception of Maribor and the Cypriot team, I reckon most of the Champions League teams would beat Swansea as would quite a few of the Europa League teams.
I reckon it would be something like this,
1. 14 ish sides from the Premier League
2. 7 x Italian
3. 8 x Spanish
4. 9 x German
5. 4/5 xFrench
6. 6 x Russia
7. 3 x Dutch
8. 3 x Portuguese
9. 3 x Turkey
10. 2 x Ukraine

AC Milan finished 6th in Italy.
Real Sociadad and FC Koln/Hertha Berlin in Spain and Germany.
We'd lose to Milan and the others would be tough games. |  |
