He is a decent Championship player and I'm not one of the people who have been slagging him off. I just don't see any resale value there. It was a tongue in cheek comment though. Rubbish, Mesa has a decent legacy in Spain and there would be plenty of mid-level La Liga clubs interested - he was £11m.

Mm - can't see that myself. I would be very surprised if a new manager would consider Mesa for a starting position, whereas Clucas has a chance of returning to form if played in his right position.
