Embrace the consequences then, this is what was always waiting at the end of the rainbow you marvel at.

If it meant freedom and democracy for the world afterwards, then it was a price worth paying.

Have you read any papers this morning, Jack? All the scum of the earth gathered in Davos and our 'free press' hanging breathless on their every pronouncement as though it were silver dripping from Olympus.

We truly live in an inverted world mate. Ignorance is indeed strength.

That Dunn book you recommended illustrated well the timeline of the rise of the Kingdom of Usura, and now Mammon truly runs rampant.

Our forefathers would look at us today and sadly shake their heads I believe.

If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever.

Oh I don't know about that I vote what I think is best for the country and not me personally.

You register this higher calling by acting the role of cheerleader to a gaggle of degenerate cultural Marxists. Somewhere along the way you seem to have confused rectitude with masochism.

The flower power generation really messed things up, they put the tin hat on it.

You truly, honestly think we have either? Really?

This will most likely sound like heresy to some but I can't help but think the only true winners of that war were the demons that financed it. The same demons that are running rampant, unchecked, to this very day.

If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--forever.

Would you have preferred to have lived under The Third Reich and The Empire of Japan?

Here's a tip for you going forward, Bony: whenever you hear a politician make reference to "our freedom," or better yet, "our democracy" take a quick step back as that's the sure precursor to an incoming verbal barrage of foul lies and degraded corruption.

The stains don't come off.

I was there recently, Taff. I'd have bought you a pint in the De Winton if I'd known that was your neck of the woods.

The De, I know Sharon and John well, they used to run the Star in Ystrad Rhondda.

I'm pretty sure I've been in The Star as well, mate. I don't know the people you mention but there's a better than fair chance they'd have been the folks serving me when I was in Tonypandy.

It's a proper boozer.

Probably, Sharon is usually behind the bar...I used to put bands on in The Star, now it's a shop-sad to see. The De does well, and is definitely bucking the trend re Pubs, plenty of characters in there.

I'd have been in The Star to have watched a band, funnily enough. Not a punk affair though, I doubt it would would have been a night you'd put on, mate.

So it's gone, then? It's happening all over now. I'm mentally making a list of all the clubs and pubs I'd have watched bands in over the years and there's hardly any left!

We are talking about the same place are we, Taff?

The third reich would never have banned busty blondes from the darts.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

That's the one, a fantastic building. Unfortunately ruined by the last landlord who didn't have a clue how to run a Pub. They used to have regular Rock nights in the 70's and the early 80's,I was at quite a lot of them although it wasn't really my type of music. I remember bands included Persian Risk, Zenith, Mad Dog, Racing Cars etc...I put bands on there in the 90's, mostly Punk/Indie nights, got good memories of the place.

Yes we have freedom and democracy

We can go on to the streets and encourage others to murder in the name of Allah.

We also have the general public free from listening devices in the lounge because a neighbour has reported unsocialist talk or activity

Problem is we misuse our freedom and have abused it for generations

We'd have people though who want to rid this country of people who do not feel inclined to vote with Jeremy Corbyn so if HE were to get in ,we really would have less freedom,as a country

The loss of a pub that size is criminal when you think about it!

I'm wracking my brain to try and think who it was I'd have gone up there to see, Taff? I'm guessing it would have been The Rimshots. No, I'm pretty sure it must have been them.

Pretty mad crowd up in that neck of the woods too, as I recall. Crazy but in a good way, if you know what I mean?
