I've seen Rangel three times this season, it's pretty obvious why he was let go, nowhere near as good as we already have, Inc Naughton.

Puts Tammy in to perspective as well.

Rangel won that one

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Draw would have been better for us.
QPR unrecognisable from the rabble that rocked up down here.

Agreed. Not sure what anyone sees in him. Unbelievable that he's an England international.

Good one-touch finisher and clever in the box. Moderately skilful.

Woefully inept at every other aspect of being a striker though.

Tammy Abraham, how much would it take? by byron 30 Jul 2017 10:28
He wasn't so good last season to be honest, be interesting to see how he goes now

<< Well that didnt take long.

Called up to England squad. £20m would have been an absolute steal. >>

We could have sold for £5-£8m, “retained value”

Totally disagree rangel could still do a job here better than naughton imo

Rangel has just lost his pace. His ability makes up for that at it this level but he wouldn’t have got much time here unfortunately. Great to see him doing well though. Fabulous player for us.

Those slagging Abraham off, he’s scored 33 goals in 80 games in senior football and he’s only 21. He wasn’t the right fit for our shambles last year but to write him off is stupid. It’s not easy for a youngster on loan and he’s done far better than the likes of Harry Kane and some of our boys at a similar age.

Not sure what any striker could have done for us given the tedious defensiveness of Clement or the non-existent midfield under Carvalhal.

He may go on to do well, or he may not, but playing for us last season is certainly no reason to write Abraham off.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Plus he’s slowed up even more than what we were used to.

No room for sentiment in football; a brilliant servent to our club but moving him on was the right choice.

Correct.

The top brass at Chelsea obviously see something in him as he’s been signed up to a long term contract on big wages. Tammy shouldn’t be judged on what happened in a Swansea shirt.

You'd also have to wonder how many Gomis would have been banging in with our current playing style. A hattrick in the QPR game at least. (I know he'd never drop down to this level or we could afford to pay him, just basing this solely on styles of play).

Here's a prediction for you: he'll never be a regular for Chelsea. In fact, he may never play for them. Championship is his level.

McBurnie's scored 4. Does he have a huge future also?

De Bruyne was never a regular for Chelsea either and had to leave for first team football, not really an indication of his ability at the time. I have no doubt that he will have a successful PL career.

Nice to see some actual sense posted on these threads instead of the vendetta filled bilge that shapes everyone’s views usually. A pleasant twist to what was a silly thread.

QPR up to 7th, didn’t see that coming.

I watched it. Both teams were horseshit and qpr moreso. The more I see, the more I think we can do it this year if we have luck with injuries. I think if we are there or thereabouts at Xmas, we will really give it a lash in the second half of the season, where potters rotation tactic should pay dividends. It can go either way of course, but it’s up for grabs.
