As soon as we knew we weren't able to buy anyone else in August Potter should have been straight on the phone asking him to join in with training on a pay as you play contract or a year long deal.
We would be top 6 now definitely it he'd been in the team from October onwards. |  |

he has said, when asked that question, no. He couldn't keep training at the intensity needed to play at the current let alone PL level, as he kept getting injured because of it.
So no. he didnt retire from the Swans early. He knows his body better than anyone else. | |
