My very simple take on this is that there is a place in education for the subject but that introducing it for 6 or 7 year olds is a year or two too early.
The point is that it’s not being introduced. There’s not a unit in the infants on LGBT but examples of difference are dealt with along the lines of tolerance and respect.
To use Garyjack’s example, children will be told that families can be in many forms (including single parents) and that’s ok.

We’ll have to agree to differ on the general point. I get that all families have issues to deal with, god knows my own isn’t exactly functional. But I don’t think schools telling kids that people are different and some people do things that are outside the “norm” is going to damage any kid.

My sex education in school was terrible. Biology was where the "mechanics" of sex between a man and a woman was learnt. Will teachers have to explain "man on man" , "woman on woman"? Plus crossdressers are interesting people and that needs to be accepted.

How would an Amazon Echo get details on an email sent from a different device. Is it hacking any device on the network now? I'm certainly not sure how it would intercept phone calls.
Serious question. If any of you in the Swansea area have a gay friend where do they go to socialize? I work with a gay man and two gay women here in Carmarthenshire. They end up going to Cardiff or London. There was a place in the High St and marina they liked but both have closed. I've seen a lot of crossdressers in Cardiff.
