You can’t buy for the bench in the championship unless you have money to burn. Just have to cover injuries as best you can. Wilmot has been brought in to effectively replace CCV. If we were to sell VDH, that’s different. We are not going to buy new first team players for the bench as back up. I reckon that goes for up front too if Baston is to stay. |  |

Wilmott can play in Midfield and by all accounts is more effective there, his versatility could enable us to bring another centre half.
I would agree that the cover is there but in terms of experience in such an important position, I must admit that it does concern me. | |
