Abs brilliant fight from Jay, but now I think he's got a problem from that performance. He's not going to get a return fight with Martinez, he deserves it, but Martinez is looking to unify the World Featherweight titles and then move up.
Jay is ranked No 5 with the WBC but is not in the top 15 with the WBA, WBO or IBF, so it going to be very hard to push his way into another World title fight. The WBO title is vacant at the moment but that will change in April.
The next fight after his fvcked it up even more when the British WBA Super Flyweight Champion Kal Yafai lost his title, so the chance of him moving up a weight and fighting in an all British World Title fight disappeared.
I just hope Eddie Hearn can do some real good negotiating for him and keep him on the World stage, because Jay deserves it.
