Due process is really important even in the most awful cases. Failure to follow it, i.e. suspension (neutral act) prior to investigations, findings and outcome results in all sorts of issues in relation to employment law. Interesting case is the former First Minister of the Welsh Assembly's handling of allegations against a colleague. Still waiting for the outcome of the inquiry and, dare I say it, the said allegations being proven. | | | |
