I'm looking to replace a slot in Electric oven, the old one is hard wired with a 32 amp cable.
Most of the ones on AO say they are 13 amp.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

It depends on the ovens rating. A lot of the new ovens and hobs are now rated under 3kw, so can use a 13amp socket. |  |

We have a separate oven and hob. The oven is powered from a standard 13 Amp socket but the 4 ring hob has its own separate 32 Amp breaker in the consumer unit. Both were installed by a proper electrician. |  | | |

Wayne is a good guy and he dont half gets some mentions on here. 
Funny enough he replaced my 32amp oven with a 13amp a year or two ago. Ovens are becoming more efficient and they are using less electricity to achieve the same result. | | | |

It may be worth getting a price from a local supplier, they may supply and install for a competitive price so you want have pay an installation fee on top of the purchase price. | | | |

I had one fitted in Feb - standard plug, worth having an isolator up top if the plug is buried at the back of a cupboard |  |
