That is the issue for me, all the stock markets have done is help to concentrate the wealth with the minority.So much wealth is hoarded by so few and there's no money for things that should really matter. How is it when a company is floated the majority of shares always end up with jut a few people, us ordinary plebs are never allowed to buy very many. It's all stacked in favour of the rich and powerful. When Royal Mail was floated, if every employee bought all the shares they were allowed it would have amounted to 10% of the business. The biggest individual shareholer, Daniel Kretinsky currently has 12.1% of shares. One man has a bigger say than 150,000 employees would have had. I don't see that as fair or right.

I’m not in to identity politics at all. I couldn’t care less what race you are, what gender you are or what sexuality you are, you just have to do a good job. Belonging to a certain group does not protect you from that.
That’s why I find the current Biden push so embarrassingly transparent. All 5 of his realistic VP choices “just happened” to be black women as he goes on a shameless pandering to the African American community. He wanted someone to fit a profile, that’s all.
