Exeter city Trust have injectd hundreds of thousand of pounds into their club. Cash of members which will never been returned. SCST was worth £21m in 2016. Millionaires afraid of their own shadow,

Different situation entirely at Exeter. The Exeter trust are majority shareholders with a major say in how the club is run. Our trust have been kept in the dark.

Well that's 1 example. Whom own the majority of their club so different situation to our club and trust isnt it. And good on them that would be the dream. How have they been allowed to do this though? They are a league 2 club so hundreds of thousands of pounds put into their club is a lot. What about FFP? Why have they needed to also? For that level they've sold a fair few players over the year's and get respectable crowds for that level

You seem to be missing the point entirely. Our Trust has been a millions miles away from this, most probably down to their own ineptitude and negligence. A Trust board with part-time bureaucrats who seemed to only revel in their own (lowly)self importance on a fans forum says it all. Only focused on one-up-man-ship online and a cowardly fight against our Club. There's a pattern. A few dodgy posters are so entrenched, our ongoing success must hurt. [Post edited 28 Sep 2020 0:31]

Haha wow wow take a deep breath and calm down. You'll have to explain some of these points to me: -what points been missed? -the trust are a million miles from what? -yes part-time volunteers is exactly what our supporters trust are. -how could a fight against a foe with far more experience and resources be seen as 'cowardly'? -who's ongoing success? -one upsmanship over who exactly!? What a strange rant of a post! [Post edited 28 Sep 2020 7:02]

| Cooper trying to get the yanks to invest!? on 09:24 - Sep 28 with 578 views | Badlands | The last thing we need at the moment is more debt. Cooper has a very good squad as he did last season. He comes across to me as another Monk - tries to hide his failings behind players. Sousa barely had a fit striker (and had to shore up the defence) and Brendon gained promotion with two 'inside forwards' rather than striker. The game against Wickham was another that exposed Cooper ... that should have resulted in us ramping up our goal difference instead of holding off and sharing the game for 68 minutes. For 25 minutes we were outstanding (all be it against limited opposition) and showed glimpses of 'old Swansea'. Then the vibe was ... job done, ease off. | |

The last sentence is unfortunately spot on, the feeling after the game wasn't as it should be after a win and clean sheet away from home. The guy on TalkSport earlier was saying he was speaking to a league manager, wouldn't name him obviously, who said Wycombe won't win a game all season. They obviously will, but watching them Saturday, they are nailed on whipping boys and the way we stood off them again in the second half is slightly concerning in my opinion. I can see us being punished like we was last season over and over again if we continue to do that, how many points did we lose in last few minutes and injury time again? He needs to learn how to trust his bench, this is his squad now and there can't be many excuses for him.

It is not a popular view but the ease of and hold is not a bad strategy. The club has a very long season ahead 43 more matches plus FA cup all compressed. The club have three players they really cannot do without at all . Ayew , Gibbs White and Rodon. Without any of those three through injury and the clubs chances are severely diminished. Cooper could and perhaps should have taken Ayew off but he seems like the player who would not be happy with this. Giibs White is perhaps less resilient. Another 3 away points and no injuries and really all fairly comfortable. Just what the doctor ordered. The old Swansea did not get automatic promotion got to the PL only after some very tense moments. Brendan had Frank Nouble on loan early in the season. Someone like Tamor Hemed and is free.

MGW isn't up to full fitness yet so he was always going to be taken off. That's a scary thought for the rest of the league mind you... I thought the change should of been Peterson for Ayew, but I'm not sure Cooper has the balls for that.

Cooper gets a lot os stick for not using SUbs In Potters season I suggested his use of the squad could be dictated by some sort of budget....this was bourne out when the Routledge situation and contract renegotiaion was made public. Possibly Cooper has his hands tied...players wages are made up of "basic", appearance , etc Players get a basic then on top it is added to if playing 1st 11, there is an addition for just sitting on the bench with additional monies if they come on ...possibly broken down into 20 minute, 10 min periods Cooper possibly sould be working under constraints....which maybe is why things ar not always changed especially if the points appear secure.

You last sentence is spot on risc. Cooper has got to give the subs more gametime, 8 mins here and there will not do them any good. Saturday's game was a perfect chance to bring a few on with 30 to go, we were 2 up, wycombe were on top, a few subs and a possible change in formation could have countered their upper hand in the game.

| Cooper trying to get the yanks to invest!? on 11:51 - Sep 27 by magicdaps10 | Definetly, these yanks need to have the boot up the rear a lot more. Cooper is 100% correct in what he is sting, to push on and show ambition.... A striker or 2 is a must. Personally I think we should be looking for an older head up top, someone in for a year who has been about and scored goals.. If we can also bring in a younger striker like Brewster then great. |
I think we should be looking for an experienced striker too but we should use Cullen as back up, give him regular game time. He'll never make it if he's not given a chance. On the OP, if Coops is doing his best for the team then I can't fault him. Would he have the gumption to quit though, if the owners ignore or turn down his "suggestions"?
