| Trump on 10:07 - Oct 2 by Dr_Parnassus | Universally loathed? By who? He is a man that was voted in democratically by his country and someone who is generally celebrated world wide. Do you mean someone loathed by the media and the left? |
Wrong again, he lost the popular vote by about three million votes. The weird and wacky Electoral College gave him victory. Loved by the right wing media and the right, disliked by the left and the left wing media...Colour me surprised!

Trump has moved quickly from mild symptoms to hospital. Hopefully it’s just precautionary and I’m sure he’ll get the best care. I can see the election being delayed if he’s out of action for a while. Maybe it’ll galvanise the US which wouldn’t be a bad thing atm.

How is that wrong? I said he was democratically voted in by his own country. You really need to learn to read before posting. It’s becoming a theme.

Do you know what, that's correct I didn't read it properly. As to postings and theme's, well, my irony meter exploded.

No provision for that. Pence would have to fill in and stand if (hopefully not) needed. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It's never been done, but ... "The power to delay rests in the hands of Congress, not the White House. Lawmakers in the House of Representatives and the Senate could vote to alter the date of the presidential election by changing the relevant statutes, according to the National Constitution Center. But they could not delay the vote indefinitely. The constitution does not specify what day the election has to be held but it does include a hard deadline: January 20 - this is the day when the president’s term in office has to end."
| Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎 |

Is that the American rules around elections then ?, I have no idea, but the election should not stop for one man, if he is ill, he is ill, if he dies he dies. If his name is on the ballot and he is dead then ok delay for a short period and print more ballots.
