What about Joe Lewis?, He is a taller version of Cooper and was more advanced in his development having had a good half season with Torquay. Back with the club now but has not featured with the U23s much. |  |

Lewis had a good loan spell but has never been ahead of Cooper. Unfortunate for Joe to find himself in the same age group as Brandon and Ben Cabango, really. Does seem to be in no man's land now with Cam Evans making the first team bench when we've been short a centre half, and rare u23s games for the lads making up the numbers in first team training.
Cooper was my pick for next off the production line after Rodon a couple of years ago. I was wrong obviously but not in a way I can be too upset about. He's getting there and Cabango's doing a fine job. [Post edited 10 Dec 2020 16:56]
