Yep.
Thought you had nobbed off in protest at the clueless clowns like me posting shyte .

Look after yourself and family and hope we can lock horns for sometime yet.

Ive been rather reticent and restrained this year but hopefully I 'll be back to top form next year. You can hire a room ,I'll contact Phil Warwick and we can sell tickets . Better than the bland bollox at a Trust meeting innit.

I nobbed off because you had nobbed off. You'd gone MIA for 2 weeks and everyone thought you'd done a Reggie Perrin.

But alas, I knew you would be back.

Ian Ormandroyd alway gavethe Swansea back four a lot of problems in the 1980s and 1990s if that adds anything to the thread.

Out of contract in the summer aswell, anyways, checking out his videos I'm not 100% sure he would fit in to how we play. Looks a decent finisher in the box, big lump, not overly mobile, similar to Vik. He would more than likely be cover for Ayew for the rest of this season and then will fill that hole when Ayew leaves.

Would we create the chances for him? For me our problems in front of goal are more from the lack of creativity in midfield, would we create the chances for this guy?

Maybe its so we can send Gyorkeres back, but still have that type of striker as an option if needed. Which would ooen up another loan spot in the squad?

Out of contract this coming Summer?? And the ex Chairman was spouting that crap? The boy can sign a pre-contract agreement next month can't he and he'd go for nothing (or nominal, depending on his age and development)?

Is that last bit right?

The ex chairman quotes was from a previous window I’m assuming.

According to that transfermkt he’s out of contract in summer but with an option for another year, I’m guessing now that is the clubs option hence the fee being nowhere near that imo.

Yes he is out of contract next summer. He was only signed as a punt on a one year deal by Crawley. He was without a club until after the season started. Hes obviously been a revelation though.

Released by Doncaster last summer, they'll want to cash in on a bit of form while it lasts.

Agreed. Those quotes from the DOF is pretty much begging clubs to make an offer.

Surely extreme caution is required given his scoring record before this season.

OK I've changed it.

You'd hope.

He may go on to be another Vardy, he may turn out to be a one season wonder. Not sure if we're in a position to gamble a high six figure fee on someone that unproven, no matter the vein of form they're in.

He is 21, what sort of scoring record would you expect with the limited number of games he has played, 68 games in 3 years for 7 different clubs before joining Crawley, hardly a settled career allowing him to shine.
During that time he scored 15 goals.

I prefer the lad from Plymouth. Jethcott? . Cooper wanted him a while ago but we wouldn't pay the 400k. His value has risen.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

That is the art if good management buying an underrated player rather buying expensive players who fail to perform we have had too many of those over the years usually forwards.

Fair point but it doesn't answer my quetion.

Right now,we have seemingly no real money YET we have seen massive sales.

Fans supposed to stay schtum then and trust the club. Not sure I d trust our club with anything given its recent history

Your question has been answered dozens of times in umpteen threads over the last two years. Nobody else's fault that you still don't get it.

It’s why the Americans bought the club, they saw Jenkins making money from numerous transfers with small investment ( at that time) hence the reason why they retained him. Gylfi, Llorente, It continued with McBurnnie, James, Rodon. That’s what they want, minimal investment for big gain, and at the moment that minimal investment is seeing the club creep closer to the premier league. Scott is the continued reason for that.

It’s what they see as a successful way forward.

OK I've changed it.

Might make sense - young enough to improve & with Ayew and Lowe playing well up top currently would be ok with a bench spot.
