Fulton & Benda 08:31 - Jan 8 with 1206 views | 34dfgdf54 | In talks for new contract. Strange one for Benda, obviously part of Coopers future plans, but only a year younger than our loanee and not getting a look in. I'd he happy to see both players signing though to be fair.

Seeing as Fred will be returning to Newcastle at the end of the season I can see why, it's a miniscule minority who think Fred isn't up to it.

Fulton & Benda on 12:05 - Jan 8 with 1038 views | Badlands | While I would prefer Benda to be given preference I imagine Newcastle will be insisting Woodman continues to get game time. Given our defence has been so good there is little statistical data to make an argument for a change.

Not interested in buying him at all, considering his record this season, some of the criticism aimed at him is farcical. Margetson seems happy enough with him.

Fulton & Benda on 12:39 - Jan 8 with 1019 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Benda is working with Cooper and Margetson for the first time. He is working on a daily basis with Woodman to learn drills and techniques for corners freekicks etc defensive walls. The Swanse defence coaches appear to prefere their keepers to stay close to the goal line and leave the bulk of the defensive work to the very capable back 5. At swindon Benda may have been asked to be a sweeper keeper.

Fulton & Benda on 12:55 - Jan 8 with 1004 views | KeithHaynes | Fulton is a no brainier. Benda will be offered a new deal based on his training appetite and improvement with Margetson watching him. Again as a back up I see him as a valuable player.

Newcastle expect Woodman to play every week TBF one has skills the other could do with and are on balance evenly matched. As Benda has a fairly serious injury it may well be a good time for both parties to strike a deal. Both, in goal keeping years, are still in the nursery so plenty of time for Benda to develop into a first choice.

Fulton & Benda on 14:25 - Jan 13 with 635 views | jasper_T | Margetson was already more than happy with what he saw from Benda when he returned from Swindon. Had the deal for Woodman not been so straightforward we'd have been relatively content with Benda as first choice. To suggest there's been some grand improvement due to our coaches to make him deserving of a deal is off the mark. Great extension to get done. Wonder if without the injury he might have held off and looked at interest from elsewhere . [Post edited 13 Jan 2021 19:17]

Fulton & Benda on 18:16 - Jan 13 with 574 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Swansea have two goal keepers tied up until 2024 on Benda and Webb. The coaches must be very confident in both players who seem very athletic to me.

Excellent work. It's all coming together very nicely, founded on sound financial management. Fulton next......

Fulton & Benda on 20:58 - Jan 13 with 508 views | onehunglow | If Fred is playing every game because Newcaslte want him too,it is very unfair for Benda as he will never improve ;best for that is game time. You can train as much as you want but nothing beats match play

Great news. Three new editions not including the keeper and we good to go I reckon.
