SBUHB are apparently hoping to start up elective surgery in NPT again, around the last week of February.
Lets hope the case numbers continue to fall and the vaccinations start to help. |  |

Hopefully she’ll get another appointment in the immediate future. I know someone who had their cancer operation cancelled 2 weeks ago, they’ve had a new date in just over a weeks time, so fingers crossed your daughter will get her new appointment soon. | | | |

Cheers , I consider myself very lucky & grateful , lucky it was slow growing and was caught in time , hadn't spread to my lymph nodes or bones, lucky the side affects after the op are minimal , and extremely grateful that I live in country where the chances of survival are greater than some other parts of the world.
I can't imagine the emotions of the person & families finding out they can't be treated because of an earlier postponement meant it was too late for a positive outcome , it must be absolutely devastating. | |

My missus had a cancer grade 4 that spread to her lymph nodes which were removed. She caught lymphadaemia which can be an issue but is treatable.
She s still here,bles her,keeping me in check.

It is highly likely the surgeon who would carry out surgery privately is the same surgeon who would do it on the NHS on a different day.
