Unlikely but as I said, don’t write them off.
Against Luton I thought their run was going to come to an abrupt end as soon as they played the likes of Bournemouth away but they’ve just stormed on. Very impressed with them again tonight. It doesn’t look good at all on Harris he may struggle for work in future. |
It’s an interesting one RJ, they sit 10 points behind Brentford in 2nd with 12 games left so a tall ask but they’ve hoovered up 7 points more than Brentford over the last 6 matches so current run rate would suggest they can catch them - imagine we’ll know more by the end of March as they play Watford, Stoke & us in a week before the international break.
Whilst I’m not a big McCarthy fan you have to credit him with their set up, they work their bollox off all over the pitch, care little about possession, passing or territory but pepper the opposition goal/box at any opportunity - only Brentford have scored more.
If we defend like we did in the second half vs BC we’ll probably win the opta possession, territory & passing stats but take a hiding. |  | | |

Not necessarily the way they they are playing now. Derby rested players today as they have a big one against Coventry Saturday but they are the teams you need to dispatch.
It’s how they react to a loss, one doesn’t look like coming at the moment though which is the worry. On the plus side though they have Brentford, Reading and Watford to play I think so if we get our form sorted they could actually help us. |  | | |

That was more from the standard of opposition for me, I thought Bristol were awful if I'm being honest, I know they are level with Stoke in table but the recent injuries have killed Bristol off. | | | |
