Firstly, he is without doubt the most odious, arrogant and unlikeable individual we have seen on telly for many years. He has no redeeming features whatsoever. He’s an awful presenter. The guests can’t get a word in edgeways because he just constantly interrupts and shouts over them. His behaviour as editor of various papers seemed at times bordering on criminal. He is not a nice person and the whole world is better off without him in the public sphere.
Secondly however, I don’t think he should be forced or even encouraged to resign for articulating an opinion that many people up and down the country would no doubt agree with. This blanket ban of anything that doesn’t fit with the new laws of wokery is getting beyond absurd.
