No I think that will still be the case.
As not everyone can or will have the vaccine and its a nasty virus for some of those who aren't considered vulnerable so we'll have to minimise it in society for a while. I think until at least late spring 2022, but that shouldn't mean lockdown or anything like it.
I'm thinking vaccine passports and rapid tests etc.

That is an awful tale but not by any means isolated.
It means you have every right to feel indignant at the cretins who even now refuse to mask up,socially distance , get pissed up at a celebration for winning the Scottish League or simply get together to get hammered as they see it as a right to do so.
Innocent people have died in England,Wales Scotland and NI as a direct result of these killers and that is what they are.

Exactly but telling the truth doesnt go down well on here. Nobody knows where we will be at the end of the year. The scientists and medical advisers who have more knowledge than us believe there will be another spike and thousands will die. However there are many on here who try to ignore that and expect Drakeford to make things up as it is good for business.

People will go out when the pubs are open and act like tools which might take us back a bit.
Having the jab will obviously help, the opening of pubs will be the acid test.
I expect to go out for a few on April 12th but I will be adhering to the rules, will others be doing the same? I think that decision will decide if it spreads again. |  | | |

The whole point of the vaccine is to limit the effects of a third wave (which there probably will be once restrictions are relaxed). If nobody is getting hospitalised as a result of an increase in infections due to vaccination, then what's the problem?

Yes the schools could cause a problem also but if they are half as good as my boys school it shouldn't be a big problem if the parents adhere to the rules and don't send their kids in when they have symptoms or if someone in their household has symptoms and a test booked, believe me that happened umpteen times before the last lockdown.
I think that another wave is possible not inevitable and it all depends on how the public react to the opening of the schools and the pubs, touch wood they will have learnt from the previous lockdowns and if the vaccines work. | | | |
