| Thank you Welsh government on 00:33 - Apr 16 by controversial_jack | There are many smaller independent countries who have had plenty of vaccine supplies. Don't talk nonsense |
The clue in there is "under EU rule" because if we were inside the EU we would have waited for the vaccine (as they all did) and would have a much smaller vaccination rate. A smaller properly independent country would make it's own arrangements and not be dcitated to by the EU. I'm afraid it's you who's talking nonsense.

The UK Government are currently undertaking a review of our legislation because it is intrinsically linked to the EU ,would they have to do that if we hadn't been a member ?

Obviously not but we knew this would happen. They said legislation would changedas we went along, there wouldn't be a very costly and time consuming mass review.

650,000 deaths in Eu and still increasing at a very fast rate due to the EU bungling the vaccine programme. Meanwhile in the UK, the death rate in the last seven days is down to 88th in the World thanks to the successful UK government vaccine programme.

By the standards Kilkenny has then he should be calling for the whole EU commission and leaders across Europe to resign en masse and for them to face criminal charges. He won't though because they aren't English or tory.

The Tory party is the English nationalist party and corrupt to the core. No welshman/woman should ever vote Tory. Not many ever do. They tried to bullshit a pandemic and 135,000 uk citizens have died as a result. Japan has twice the uk population and only 9,500 japanese citizens have died. Thats a difference that can only be explained by Johnson not following the science. He tried the lazy British exceptionalism card. The virus did not care.

Meanwhile in Hungary, Belgium and Italy they all have higher deaths rates than the UK. Could that have anything to do with the EU.

When he calls for Bojo to be sacked and prosecuted it may just turn out his beloved EU will turn out much worse but we know he won'task the same for them. Hypocrisy. Maybe when this is over we can look at all the figures and Kilky can tell us exactly how many politico's deserve sacking and prosecuting?

Campaigning is people asking you to vote for them. It's not telling people they shouldn't vote Tory because they're Welsh, can you see the difference? Probably not, it's like asking a blind man to read the small print. PS, you asked me who I was to speak up for the Welsh Guards, well who are you to speak on behalf of all Welsh people, there are many more Weslh people than there's been Welsh Guards, hypocrisy much? So Killy having a go at Welsh Guards then, one of the few thing Wales can be proud of. Many of our fans, especially older, have worn this uniform and served Britain and died in the process. Probably because they served in Ireland and would have killedsome rebels. Just as well Ive had to block Killy . He posts pure racism and hate speech . Dark Valleys are dangerous places

| Thank you Welsh government on 07:16 - Apr 16 by Scotia | The social care workers are more difficult to arrange, but this would be the second time this will have been paid so it would just mean paying the same people again. It is the first payment for the NHS staff . Mrs Scotia got £500 (minus tax) last year as a social worker and is expecting it again. To be honest we were amazed when Drakeford mentioned that she would be getting another payment. We booked a holiday to Devon on the basis of it. |
Like many things this payment is not as simple as first seems. There are NHS employees who do additional part time for care providers outside of their NHS contract. These have been paid the first £500 (minus tax) payment. There will need to be a procedure in place to ensure that these do not automatically get double paid, from their care employment and NHS employment. NHS employees also pay pension contributions on their income, they have been told no pension contributions will be taken out of this £735 payment (before deductions), but it will therefore not count towards their pension. We then also have the complication of Universal Credit. See below. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ As I have said this is not a simple payment.

There will be no payments for some if the NHS is totally privatised, so I think it's a salient point.

The Welsh NHS is devolved so even if England privatised Wales is separate, do you understand that? If you and Kilky want to conatsntly attack the tories and ignore Welsh government issues, maybe start a new thread?

The Senedd would be powerless to block a Tory government from effectively privatising the NHS via a free trade deal with the US for example. Trade deals are not within the powers of the Senedd.
