| Wales v Mexico : International Friendly Matchday Thread 04:37 - Mar 26 with 3659 views | NotLoyal | It’s a spicy friendly on Welsh soil on Saturday evening with Wales taking on a Mexico side preparing for the CONACAFAFACA tournament, which is like COVID but with football in it. This will be a tough fixture for Wales who have not beaten Mexico in four meetings. International Friendly Wales v Mexico : Saturday latest 27th Mar 2021 09:11After a decent performance in Belgium on Wednesday night Wales return home to play a friendly, for whatever reason, against Mexico. With the Czech Republic World Cup qualifiers on the horizon we expect this game to see an experimental side picked. Swansea City products Ben Cabango and Brandon Cooper should see some game time, and we all hope that Conner Roberts is rested. 0 We kick off above with an extensive look at the pre match news and the Swansea academy products making a mark in the Welsh squad. More to follow.

Indeed. Signing anglos mid way through their careers having already played at championship level doesn't wash with me. Since the Gunter, Ledley, Ramsey, Matthews crop there's been very few. Lockyer, Matondo never played for them but they did come through their youth system and the only 2 around the squad currently I believe.

Congratulations to Gunter on 100 caps, he has never let Wales down, nearly always performs well for Wales.

| Wales v Mexico : International Friendly Matchday Thread on 22:24 - Mar 27 with 763 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Wales passing was pretty average as normal and Mexican passing was super accurate in first half in particular. It seems to me Wales are a team of runners and started to dominate throught the power of their running. Roberts and Nico came on and can run all day adding fresh legs. I watched an away game v a poor Bulgrian team and Wales were running at their defenders all night and they could not cope. In international fooball it is an unusual style. Mexico did not enjoy it for sure. | |

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Got skinned once but either outplayed the 22 or just frustrated the hell out of him. As Lozano got angrier Cabango got stronger. Mexico 9th best team in the world, we played mostly kids has been sans w Even brought on 4th tier players!

Lozano got in behind too easilly first half and it looked like it was going to be a long night but Cabango seemed to get better and better as game went on. Cracking performance against a top class player.

Gunter as CB didn’t really work and he and Norrington didn't seem to be 100% in the first half. It looked to me like Cabango had to stay on Lozano more than anticipated and Ben was surprised by the his pace early on ... TBF Cabango adjusted his positioning and really frustrated the Napoli man after the early encounters. The back three improved as a unit as the game went on as well. Very happy for the player.
