Interesting comments - well relatively vs Cooper’s usual stuff - suggested to me that all he is focused on is the next 5 (unlikely 6) games & after that he is not too bothered.
*Either we exit at initial play-off stage & he’s offski or we somehow deliver a miracle & make it up & Tottenham, Palace, etc come in for him.
* I know we could still grab the safety of 7th spot but Reading look unlikely to win 3 on the spin to make that happen.

It was a tough one to work out, when you think he has been involved at most levels at the club, apart from the failed American signings. It makes you wonder, was he having a dig at Winter and Scott or putting his exit strategy in to play.

Well spotted, let's just wait for WOL to use the same headline.

Bit of both maybe.
We know he's not hugely fond of admitting his own mistakes so an attempt to muddy the water before any potential exit for whatever reason was probably only to be expected.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Are you insane? Spurs or Palace will never come in for him at this stage. We need to keep him and give him some youngsters to work with.

Agree put him in charge of the under 18s, plenty of youngsters for him to work with there.

Not too many managers can last more than 2 seasons in the biggest job in football.
Do well you are released with compo.
Do averagely you move on by mutual agreement
Do badly you are sacked.

Well if he reads this board he’ll definitely conclude that he’ll be better off elsewhere.

I haven't read the article to be honest, haven't got the patience at the moment, just relaxing after a day at the grindstone
