It's similar to when they built the new slip roads etc; alongside the M4 at Magor and Chepstow years ago. The infrastructure needs improving and it has in west Wales. I don't know if we suffer as a result of the formula that funds Wales for expenditure but it has certainly been suggested time and again.

Its because the UK government treat Cardiff Airport differently to airports in Scotland and the north of Ireland ? Why ? Because Cardiff might then start to compete with Bristol. Thats not allowed. So Cardiff struggles and our Welsh govt has to step in to help it survive. It will be much more successful in Indy Wakes. Take Back Control.

Do you fly from Bristol? Laughable to suggest Rhoose can compete with it. It's costing us a fortune to subsidize it. Yesterday proved nobody in Wales is interested in independence, Drakeford just said as much on the news

Nobody can fly from Cardiff airport as the Welsh government haven’t given the go ahead for anyone to fly anywhere, by the time they announce it Killy’s parents won’t be able to find a kids free deal so he will be at home spouting nonsense on here which I’m amazed people respond too. Anyone who doesn’t see the need for an M4 relief road is thick as sh1te & doesn’t warrant a response.

Indy Wales isn't happening though, Plaid got very disappointing results and even Price lost votes in his own constituency. Face it Kilky, Wales does not want indy. What Wales needs now is all the 4 parties in the Senedd to come together and tell Bojo we want more devolved powers, we want the same deal as Scotland. Not that it will help Rhoose airport, there simply aren't enough people using it to make it viable. It loses money on EVERY SINGLE PASSENGER. Bristol airport is better, has more flights and is usually cheaper to fly from too. The irony for me there is, I'll happily pay a bit extra to fly from Cardiff because it's just so darned quiet, it's easy. There's always somewhre to sit, there's not the queues anywhere and the flights are usually on time. We don't fly very often though, every other year. Rhoose airport needs a massive increase in traffic and it won't get it, it's just too awkward to get to and if you live in North Wales its far easier to get to Manchester or Birmingham. So Kilky, would you agree that with devolution quite firmly on the back burner, Wales needs to come together and tell Bojo, give us the same deal as Scotland/

Plaid didn't have a disappointing result in my book, they did the same as last time and as I expected, this time Labour had a leader of the Welsh Government that has done well in handling the pandemic (poll after poll of the Welsh thought he was doing a good job) so it was always going to be difficult for Plaid, Plaid need Labour to do badly for Plaid to do well and this time round that was not going to happen because people think that Drakeford handled the pandemic well. As I have already told you twice elsewhere, what you think is irrelevant. Adam Price expected surging support for Plaid, for independence and what he got instead was smaller share of the vote. It's not hard Tramps, really it's not, Plaid Cymru's leader, Adam Price, has said they had disappointing results, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/top

That is priceless....hang on maybe that's the answer, maybe Plaid would be better of being literally Priceless and putting Trampie in charge because you knwo better about Plaid Cymru than Plaids own leader! Trampie for the Senedd Or maybe you should think before you post. I reckon Price has probably spoken to more different people this last few weeks than you've spoken to in years. He's watched the polls, he's watched the news, he's spoken to ther PC candidates who have all been on doorsteps too. What you little community says, Trampie, count for very little. He has watched the polls you say, well Plaid polled 19%,18% and 20% in the last 3 polls, I expected them to get 19% and they got 20%. What did Price expect Plaid to get 30%,40%,50% ?, he is talking his side's chances up, he doesn't want some possible voters to think his side can't win otherwise they might think it's a wasted vote and vote for someone else.

| F. R. T. Davies on 09:09 - May 8 by builthjack | As you know, a large proportion of Brecon and Radnor is made up of farmers and toffs. They are against Welsh Labour introducing NVZ regulations. (These pollute the land and rivers. Farmers are happy to spread god knows what on the land and to hell with the consequences. So everyone connected to farming was going to vote Tory in this election. England will follow suit in a few years, but are as usual lagging behind Wales in keeping the environment clean. Do we want polluted rivers killing all the fish? Do we want polluted land killing wildlife? Farmers don’t seem to mind. There’s your answer. [Post edited 8 May 2021 9:09]

Using your logic all miners voted Labour and the steelworks and BP all local companies have protected our waterways and wildlife. Neath where i reside is a shithouse with all of our rivers polluted by the above companies has again voted Labour which i find unbelievable especially as we have raw sewage in the river running regularly through our town. It says it all when you look at the quality of our MP's. Farmers i know spend time looking after their land if you know where this isnt the case report them. If you think England are lagging behind us envioromentally , you are deluded.

Yes and after the event he stated it was a disappointing result for Plaid. Tell me, all these polls that gave different results, do you think he puts very much faith in them? My own personal feeling has always been, the only poll that counts is the vote itself. If Price didn't really believe he would do well, why tell Labour he wasn't interested in talking about a colaition? Another bluff I guess Politicians may not do so very much of it but they do sometimes tell the truth, specially when that truth is there for everybody to see, unless you're Trampie it seems.

Yes off course it was a bluff, if Labour had finished 4 or 5 seats short then Price would have gone into coalition with them, he is not going to say before the election that he would definitely go into coalition with Labour as a junior partner as that might put people off voting Plaid in that scenario as they might just as well have voted Labour. You have a lot to learn Cat about how they all operate and what they all say to the public.

No, I don't really I don't. They all bluster and BS. Where I draw the line is refusing to believe that the party I support had a bad night when it clearly did. Not that I support a party, but you do and you cannot accept that PC did worse than expected, as if your own opinion counts for anything there. Do you honestly think Price expected to lose vote share? Do yoy honestly think he didn't believe he had a chance of making gains? Do you honestly believe that when he publicly states his party had a disappointing set of results that he's not being truthful? Even worse for Plaid was the Libdems getting a seat and labour not needing them for a coalituon. Price had probably laid his stall out hoping that Labour would get 26/27 seats and would NEED Plaid for a majority, then his stance would give a strong negotiating stance. That's how politics works see Tramps, the bluff and counter bluff.

I've replied to you with a copy and paste you asked for on the other thread, Plaid did not do badly in my book they did as I expected. You might have had higher expectations for Plaid then they achieved, the leader of Plaid obviously would be positive in public, I expected them to do as per the last few polls and I expected both Labour and Tories to do well.
