MORE TICKETS AVAILABLE 17:46 - May 20 with 3819 viewsKeithHaynes

After a limited number of tickets became available for Saturday’s play-off semi-final against Barnsley, the club will be contacting supporters who entered the original ballot to offer them a ticket.

Only those fans who received an email with the details are eligible and they MUST complete the mandatory health questionnaire featured in the email they will have received.

If you have entered the ballot for multiple members of your household bubble using the same email address, only one person will receive the successful email. Please note that all members of that application are successful.

Supporters MUST now complete a mandatory health questionnaire and agree to a code of conduct, which can be found in the email sent to you.

Fans have until midnight tonight (Thursday, May 20) to complete this. This is due to the time constraints the club has to send the digital ticket for you to print at home.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Wise words.

It'll pass, but right now I'm totally pyssed off.

J.
I get pyssed off most days then missus laps me out of it.

We are preparing for this game albeit at home but we will still be going through the emotional wringer whether we are at the ground or not.
It is the case .

If one if unable to get to a game, one should still be respectful and acknowledged as a fan .

We are the same and just for you...

Still no luck.

Tomorrow will be the first game that I'll have missed at the Liberty. Every league game, cup game and friendly, I was there.

Can't help feeling angry and bitter, especially as it appears that "random" is looking dubious.

Let's hope that if we reach Wembley the loyal fans get a fairer shake.

That's one hell of a record, I'm gutted for you as you say hopefully the ones who missed out get a better chance should Wembley beckon. ( I am of the mind that the majority who were successful were in groups , unless someone can prove other wise )

I'm very similar to yourself with regards to match attendance, and I was quite happy to hear that those that left their season ticket money in the club rather than take a refund (I'm one of those)) would go into a ballot, I assumed that would mean about a 1 in three chance of drawing a ticket, but that doesn't look to be the case.

I received two notifications emails from the club confirming that they had received my application, and that I would receive an email to let me know if successful or not, sadly, I'm still waiting for that email, neither did I receive an email regarding the second draw, to say I'm a little p*ssed off is a big understatement.

I was at Preston when we won promotion to the old first division, and I was at Wembley when we won promotion to the Premiere league, should we reach the final this year, I fear I won't be there, I can live with this, if everyone has a fair crack of getting a ticket, but I have very little confidence of this happening.

To those fortunate enough to have a ticket for tomorrow, have a great day and just remember that you are shouting for all us that couldn't be there, so make bloody sure you do.

TBH they should have said they were going to priorities groups if that has been the case. We are allowed for 6 people from up to 6 households (not including children under 11) to book a table in a restaurant. So we could have grouped up for this event.

There had to be a method and it all seems fair to me.
I can understand fans who haven't got a ticket being disappointed but there seems to be a moan thread about the club doing what they said they would do.

If we get to Wembley I've got some family and friends together. We'll apply as a group.

Everyone that I know who applied individually failed. So much for a random ballot.

https://www.swanseacity.com/ne

"Due to the reduced capacity, tickets will be allocated via a ballot through the club’s ticketing platform, and will only be open to 2020-21 season ticket holders who left their monies in the club for this season, along with 2020-21 hospitality guests and sponsors.

This is an even ratio, based on the number of supporters in each group mentioned above."

Can you guarantee that this has been done pro rata and the same percentage of sponsors and hospitality as season ticket holders have received tickets.

I'd assume any group would need to have the same address.

Why

Without knowing all the ticket allocations, and just looking at those that have been successful (the ones I know of) it does seem that people living in the same household have a better chance of having a ticket than individual applications,

You can buy tickets for anyone on your linked account list. Welsh covid rules allow you to mix as in my post above. 6 linked tickets just apply for the 6 together.

I'm screwed then as I live on my own.

I suppose that groups will get all those tickets too.

I understand that there will be 10.000 allowed at Wembley and yet the F.A. Cup final had 20,000. I may be wrong here but that's what I heard.

As long as they didn't take the refund, or isn't that the criteria for the final ?

This is correct and was confirmed to me when I contacted the ticket office.

My dad and I are season ticket holders but are registered under separate addresses with the club for our season tickets. I asked if I could add him to my ballot and the answer was unfortunately not as we had separate addresses. Apparently this was the guidance given by the WAG.

I got a ticket (albeit that I had to return it) and he did not.

Groups entered for a random ballot and individuals for another would have been random.
I should add I have no idea that is what happened but it seems unlikely having heard loads of singles got tickets on the first draw.

I'm a single ticket and had one, I know a couple of other singles also received a ticket.
I didn't get an email, I tried phoning them several times, no answer. I emailed them twice and had a reply around 5pm. It said sorry you haven't had an email, you have been selected for a ticket and to fill in the survey.

I think the reason they had so many for the FA Cup final is because it was a “test” event. Apparently There were discussions around bringing the Champions League final to We,bleh, but the government wouldn’t relax quarantine travel restrictions to allow corporate guests, sponsors and others entry in to the Country.
