England and Switerland actually. here are two groups at least with the third team with 3 points. Finland with 3 can still qualify but need Croatia and Sctoland to draw. (i think)

Finland and Ukraine have both finished 3rd with 3 points. Unless I’ve misunderstood, that means anyone 3rd in their group with 4 points goes through. [Post edited 22 Jun 2021 6:07]

Spot on - Ukraine currently best placed of those on 3 points (better goal difference than Finland) with 3 groups still to complete. If the Scots/Croatia draw that would put Ukraine through to the 16s - less likely but if Slovakia beat Spain & the Swedes didn’t lose vs Poland then Finland would join them!

Would they lose on purpose to avoid a good team? I quite fancy Italy, even their virtual second string looked good, they have strength everywhere, they are very strong defensively and look sharp up front.

| Billy Gilmour out with Covid / England going out ? on 19:01 - Jun 21 by Catullus | If Mount is missing does that mean Grealish will start? It could force a change that works for them. I really don't get England. They have pace, they have very talented players but it's like they've been hamstrung, like they're playing with shackles on, so slow and at times very negative. They shouldnt just be getting better results, they should be among the entertainers but it's been so dour. They can't get the balance right. Is it that they are scared to lose? Is that fear then holding them back? Or is it right what someone said, Southgate is a coach like Cooper. Maybe England need to pinch Martinez? |
When they play in white it is like watching the Swans under Cooper. What is the common denominator? No, not the white shirt. England school of Management Managers. [Post edited 23 Jun 2021 13:57]

Maybe their approach to play is becasue they were defenders as players themselves. Martinez was an attack minded midfielder....smae as Monk was a defender as a player...they have a different mindset.

Playing career In the late 1990s, Cooper joined Wrexham but did not make an appearance for the club.[4] He was signed by manager Brian Flynn, who suggested Cooper pursue a coaching career instead of playing professionally.[4] Cooper later played for The New Saints, Rhyl, Bangor City, and Porthmadog in the Welsh football leagues.[5] He featured for Bangor City in the UEFA Cup against FK Sartid Smederevo in 2002.[6] Cooper began his coaching career at Wrexham's academy while playing as a defender in the Welsh football league
