| People not wearing masks in shops 19:10 - Sep 2 with 5140 views | magicdaps10 | Went into sports direct today, amount of people with no lanyards on and not wearing a mask was unbelievable..... Not one I seen was approached about not wearing a mask(I understand why the staff wouldn't do this). One young girl with a couple of kids, no mask on and was coughing constantly around the shop, would like to think she had been for a test but with no lanyard on, really can't see what these people are hoping to acheive other than bringing attention yo themselves or even hoping for a bit of controversy. Masks are a pain but what are others views on these people PS-Went in to sports direct yo Puck up some skins and the new premier league ball for my boy-That's the excuse for entering that hole 😠| |

More made up hogwash for a brainwashed simpleton. If you want to wear masks go for it, it will do you more harm than good.

| People not wearing masks in shops on 14:24 - Sep 3 by controversial_jack | That's not how it works. The virus isn't hanging around by itself in small particles, It's in the small vapour droplets we sneeze, cough or breathe out.A basic mask will prevent those breaking through by acting as a filter and barrier. We don't need specialist masks to do that, and if everyone wears one then the protection is doubled. As for saturated masks, where would the virus have gone if not for the masks collecting it. Masks, should be changed and washed regularly as a general matter of hygiene. |
What do we do then Boss. What should we do about covid

If only it was that simple. Yes the tests are very suspect, but my extended family have 6 people with symptoms who have tested positive. They live in Gowerton and Waunarlwydd. All bar one of them are double vaccinated and the one who isn't is only 17. Up until now I have never actually known anybody with COVID.

So its Bs then.A ruse by Goverments t make money ? All these deaths are old people who should be dead anyway? Masks do no good Neither does social distancing We should simply ignore it and carry on as normal And while we are on about vax,why not stop vaxing kids for anything, even babies. innit

Sorry to hear that, hope they are all just mild symptoms.

Thanks, at the moment they all appear to be OK, but we all know how quickly that can change if pneumonia symptoms set in.
| People not wearing masks in shops on 11:17 - Sep 5 with 1033 views | controversial_jack | My 16 month old granddaughter has just tested positive. Awful cough, but she seems to be improving. She went to the docs and the hospital and they said it was a cold. A bit concerning that it wasn't diagnosed , she didn't have a test either. Daughter has the same symptoms , but tested negative, so another test required. | | | |

Despite our differences on here i genuinely wish you and your family and the families of all those affected by this awful virus the very best and the swiftest of recoveries. The sooner we can have a national constructive debate to get to the bottom of this awful awful time for everybody the better.

Thank you for those sentiments, much appreciated. The baby has tested positive and seems to be getting a lot better, but her mother has tested negative twice and is feeling quite ill. She has had both jabs and is a fit and healthy 23 year old. They both have the same symptoms, but yet she has been tested negative and so has her partner who has no symptoms at all. Track and trace are mystified and have asked her to take another test on weds. She has the classic symptoms. Horrible cough, the shivers and feeling cold, nausea, fatigue, no taste for certain foods and a runny nose. It could be that the baby had a false positive, but it's not nice to ask her to take another test. she wears a mask in public, but took baby to a playgroup, so could have caught it off the baby. Whatever it is, it's not very pleasant at all. It seems the same as I and my wife and other family members had in late december 2019.

My wife has those symptoms, she had a test yesterday. Not had the result yet but she's been told to stay home from work. I'm fine though, not a sniffle or a temperature. This virus is a sneaky git, it behaves so differently in different people, 30% of us will be asymptomatic so maybe I have it and don't know? Her and our son did lateral flow tests and both were negative.

Hope they all get well soon and I’m sure they will. Interesting what you said about 2019. My wife had all the symptoms in January 2020….New Years Day. No testing then so stayed at home until she felt better which was about two weeks and no after effects. I came down with a virus in February and suffered every poxy symptom spread over a month ending with a very upset stomach. No testing available again. I have underlying health issues and felt crap for about two months. October….virus again. Isolated…no test until February which as expected was negative. Had both jabs….and here we are now in September and just about there now. I can’t say it was Covid but I’ve never had viruses like them for so long a period.

| People not wearing masks in shops on 22:38 - Sep 2 by raynor94 | I'm 65 I can imagine the outcome me berating a young fit 20 year old for not wearing a mask. Security outside Tesco did nothing, you can't expect the customers to do their job |
It’s much better in Tescos Marina. The security have stuff to deal with there every day, drug addicts, people shoplifting etc etc. They’re battle hardened and don’t take any sh*t . In the times I’ve been in there I’ve not seen anyone not wearing a mask though I’m only in there once a week .
