Definite increase in crowd trouble this season *UPDATED Sunday on 12:27 - Nov 6 by bennytheblue
I think it’s gone away in certain places where it was rife, might spring up in other towns like a generation thing. Most I know here are hitting 50 and not going to get involved in a load of guff that’s no doubt being filmed. A few still go but more likely to see them in the family stand with their kids. Moving grounds and Chelsea away fa cup (the stitch up) was seen as the end for many. Chapter over life is too short.
When your not in the vicinity or walk away it’s best.
Seems to be a lot of issues with foreign sides. Leicester going to Napoli won’t be pretty.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Did you lot have any issues in Naples? Not really a city to piss about in…..you could quite easily get shot or stabbed at the very least. Few French clubs having issues too which always strikes me as odd.

Italians eh, hard men at the football but put them in uniform and they turn into Olympic sprinters! The French puzzle me too, they always have though. I found the Northern French to be mean and arrogant but not violent, go down South an the people are lovely. Monaco was fantastic. Even the police were friendly, well the ones I met!
Football will always have glimpses of trouble, put alcohol into young men at sports and it will always cause some nonsense but the days of big "firms" taking over other places and mass rucking like I have seen several times, that thankfully appears to be consigned to history.

I’m amazed Benny hasn’t been there with their main boys in fairness.
He claims to have been/done everything.

Wrexham issued 12 banning orders this week, after trouble v Torquay.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Napoli fans fine. The Carabinieri heavy handed to say the least. Bar the Jack who twisted his knee celebrating a goal we got out of there in one piece with great memories of European knockout stage football.

I'm hoping we'll take our next holiday in or close to Naples. I want to see Pompeii and Herculaneum.
Maybe next year, more likely the year after.
I think you will love it . You can stay in Sorrento which is a reasonably short and cheap train ride away . Pompeii is well worth a visit worth doing a bit of background research b4 you go .I havent been to Herculaneum but other people have told me its excellent as well. One word of warning if you go high season it can get very hot .There is no cover from the sun in Pompeii so you will be exposed - take lots of water /sun cream /sun hat. Vesuvius worth a visit _ its a fair way away from Pompeii but you can book a coach trip that takes you so far up the summit you then have to walk the rest of the way. There are a couple of refreshment stops on the way up. Again it can get very hot and no Sun cover. The view from the top is fantastic and the size of the crater is huge . Naples is a very busy place people are friendly enough though the city can appear a bit rough round the edges at first. There are lots of street markets where all sorts of stuff is sold and when you look up you will see the washing lines strung above your head from one tenement to the other.I wouldnt attempt to hire a car in this city as the driving I saw was bordering on the insane at times . Neapolitan pizza is a must.

Football dust ups are usually over in seconds but fairplay no had bags there
That was on the iplayer in the Robbie savage documentary, "making Macclesfield " a local businessman bought them and hired Savage as director of football. To be fair to him, he got in the middle of them scrapping fans to break it up.

Watched that last night and fair play to that owner putting in £4 million pound just to get it up and running really liked him and his out look on life. Robbie Savage is like Danny Dyer a complete burk but a likeable burk
