You can call him a socialist doesn't mean he is.

Sorry to disillusion you but he was labour's longest serving Prime minister. Just because you don't like him you can't now call him a Conservative. After all it was the 350 plus labour MPs who voted in the commons to put all his legislation into law. Maybe they were all Conservatives as well.

They try to revise history, to deny Blair because whenever the bleat about tories they hate being reminded of Blair.

He was Labour leader, voted for by Labour members, put into number ten by Labour voters and had Labour MP's doing what he wanted, he was a LABOUR Prime Minister end of argument.

He is typical of modern politicians, in it for what they can get out of it and not in it for the greater good.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

They can call him a Tory but it doesn't mean that he is...

There is a lot more coming out in these papers, more evidence of Russian oligrachs influence and funding of the Tory party. One such Russian is accused of making 100's of millions via a corrupt deal and he has funded 34 tory MP's.

Just like Blair though, I'm sure no actual laws have been broken!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Who is they ?, not me that is for sure as I'm proud of the fact I seen through Blair at the very start and dissed him and the direction Labour went in, no aftertiming from me, I was straight on the case that Blair was a wrongun and Labour was being overrun by red Tories so I never voted for them in their new guise after I had voted for Foot in 83.

Now we have reached the point where lots of the poor in society vote Conservative and lots of the middle class vote Labour.

From what I hear lots of the grassroots faithful yearn for a dyed in the wool socialist as per their principles of old.

That may well be the case, but not it’s not what Middle England wants as reflected in the last GE. So the dyed in the wool socialists have a choice, stick to their guns , alienate the mass electorate and continue to serve up a Conservative government or move to the middle ground?
What would they prefer, a middle ground Labour Party with a chance of forming a Government or a Conservative Government? It’s in their hands and their choice!!!

It's the red Tories that should leave the Labour party and form a new party, instead they have highjacked the Labour party and brand, Labour should be a left wing socialist party like of old and these red Tories should form their own party in the 'middle ground'.
Traditional left wing Labour should support socialist policies, if that does not win the country over fine, there is no point in traditional left wing socialists fighting to get a Tory lite party (calling themselves Labour) in power as there is little difference between NuLabour and the Conservatives.
It should be up to NuLabour to form a new party (I think some of them have tried and failed, they think they will have more chance under the Labour brand unfortunately).
