No mun are you then saying we had the war won in 1941 because the Americans had not entered, ???, the war was still in the early stages and things were looking really bleak for the UK, once the Americans declared war on Germany they were on our side it was there military might that won the war and no doubt we would have been in sh_t street without them, and your point about the UK having thousands in the far east and boy were they struggling out there as well justify s just how much of a mess we were in, once America were fighting with us and supplying us big time the tide began to turn.

It wasn't just the Americans, things would have looked very different if Hitler hadn't done Barbarossa. If he'd kept the Russians friendly the world would probably look very different today.
If Hitler could have kept going anouther 12-18 months he would probably have had WMD's and pulverised the Uk. Possible nuclear weapons on the V1, the ME 262 jet fighter and plenty of other things in the works.

If Hitler hadn't attacked Russia and concentrated on taking Britian instead, the Germans would most likely have won. Without a staging post in Europe, the USA couldn't have sent troops in such numbers for D Day.

There are many different points of view though.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Yes your case definitely needs a good rest.

And just one more thing an except from the memoirs of Winston Churchill, he is the guy who led us just in case you think that is not the case as well The United States forces played a direct role in defeating the Germans for before they came to fight by our side and despite the success in certain aspects due to our Air force and Navy we were almost an unarmed people with resources becoming almost non existent.

If Germany had further improved the ME109 rather than sitting on their laurels, things could have been very different. Also Germany had no heavy bombers thankfully, their medium bombers did enough damage, but nothing compared to what was inflicted on them in 44 & 45.

The ME109 and FW190 were the bees knees in their time, but other aircraft of the allies soon outclassed them. Goering and Gallant wanted to concentrate fighters on defending the Reich, but Hitler wanted offensive action against Britain, Another mistake of his.

Adolf Galland became a bit of a post war celebrity. with numerous anecdotes' attached or regarding him. Douglas Bader was invited to speak as a guest in a Luftwaffe reunion by Galland and on entering, looked around the gathering and announced he hadn't realised how many of you ******'s we'd left alive. Not sure if its true, but I rather hope so.

Yes he’s obviously talking about the lend-lease deal which I mentioned earlier. Not an altruistic act. They were to gain significantly financially and general American sentiment was firmly against it because they feared the weapons would fall into Nazi hands much in the same way as Biden handed over billions of dollars worth of hardware to the Taliban.

I think your best bet is to make an appointment to see a therapist asap, lol he`s not obviously talking about nothing other than the Americans fighting along side the Brits being the main reason in his eyes which enabled us to win the war and it was a great relief to him when they decided to to fight along side us, and now in your desperation you have gone on to Biden and the Taliban

Yep we would have done anything to have them at our side to save our skins, and thankfully they did just that.

The Americans didn't come in to save our skins, Pearl harbour and Hitler declaring war on them made their minds up for them, mind you, probably the biggest favour the Japanese and Germans ever did for us.

Oh boy lets try again, we know they did not come in to save our skins out of the goodness of there heart, but non the less by joining the war they saved our skins, the million upon millions of monies worth of supply's and arms they kept shipping to us across the Atlantic is just one prime example, without them supplies we would have hardly has any resources.

They didn't save our skins, we were safe from any German invasion as long as we kept the skies and North Atlantic open, which we did.

The Russians were hammering the Germans in the East and they killed 4 times more Nazis did than the rest of the allies combined - at a huge cost to themselves. The Ivans basically defeated the Nazis, not Britain or the US , although it helped a lot.

Stalin was constantly asking the allies when they were going to open a second front, but that didn't happen until 1944 if you exclude the Italian campaign

Roosevelt was very sympathetic to our plight. It was public opinion keeping the USA out of the war. Pearl harbour was the turning point.

Lend lease started in 1941, it was the only way Roosevelt could help. yes America profited massively but surely better that than the possible consequence/

America was also supplying the Germans you plonker. They didn’t take sides early on, it was a trade opportunity for them. IBM were supplying the machines used for keeping tabs on the Jews, Henry Ford and Hitler were very big buddies. Ford openly admitted to selling them stuff from his European factories. They supplied oils for military equipment. There was a lot of fascist sentiment in a lot of quarters in the US at the time.

Prescott Bush (George HW Bush’s father and George W Bush’s grandfather) was financing the Nazis even after the USA entered the war. There were calls for him to be executed for treason but nothing sticks to that family.

Do yourself a favour and take a look at the TV series called how the Nazis lost the war it is currently on Sky, episode six will enlighten and educate you a little better unless of course you decide that what the historians and scholars on the programme are saying is untrue which would not surprise me to be honest, the other 5 episodes are very educational and interesting as well. you also do not seem to have any idea of just how much supply's the Russians were receiving from the USA as well, as i say take a look and learn some facts that are obviously not currently in your mindset.
