| Trumpet trying to avoid the truth on 12:35 - Nov 12 by Dr_Parnassus | When BLM and Antifa took over a large part of Seattle, nothing was mobilised. Trump offered to move the national guard in yet the Governor withdrew the police, rejected the offer and called it “the summer of love”. Two people were killed in that occupation, including a 16 year old. These riots were out of hand all year, it’s amazing that people are only getting concerned about the one at the end of it all. Previously to that we saw the same riots Kamala was encouraging, use quick drying cement on a police precincts exit while trying to burn the occupants alive inside. Horrific daily scenes that nobody seemed to care about. It’s amazing how little was said by the same people condemning this one. Or maybe it isn’t… |
I was not discussing Seatle, I was commenting on Trump and the events of the 6th of January.

| Trumpet trying to avoid the truth on 14:21 - Nov 12 by Professor | It is widely reported if you look at a range of media. Not videos on websites 691 people have been charged. Fewer than 200 have been held in custody prior to trial. Trials have been ongoing since July. Over 100 people have pleaded guilty to largely minor misdemeanour offences. Most of those charged on more serious offences have not yet gone to trail and investigations are ongoing. The longest sentence thus far is 41 months. The majority of your claims are complete conspiracy hogwash. |
"Fewer than 200 have been held in custody prior to trial. " Says it all. Why are they in custody when the other 400 are not?

Indeed but in order to hold certain opinions you have to be consistent with them. I condemned both the Capitol and the likes of the Seattle riots at the time, because that’s what decent people do. The one sided offence is stuff that I really cannot get along with. The fact people watch 12 months solid of daily violence, looting, murder and rioting without comment then only decide to comment when there is an attempt to blame someone they don’t like. It’s views like that which I just roll my eyes at. As I said at the time, anyone who is claiming to be outraged by the Capitol and was commenting on the state of the country last year and didn’t once condemn what we were seeing doesn’t really have a leg to stand on.

"we will need people to put partisan politics aside and work with us for the good of the country" · [More] synonyms: biased · prejudiced · one-sided · coloured · discriminatory · preferential · [More] Come on then, show me where I have ever strong supporter of Biden and Harris. Show me where I have been a strong Democrat supporter. I wasn't backed into a corner about anything either. I agreed that Harris was wrong and that those riots were wrong. The Capitol building is heavily guarded yet so many people managed to get inside, they didn't manage to stop it did they? They got into many parts of the building including Nancy Pelosi's office before order was restored. So, not partisan, not hypocritical and not inconsistent. You must try harder. |

| Trumpet trying to avoid the truth on 16:54 - Nov 12 by Flynnidine_Zidownes | Yeah from what I saw of the Washington incident they were more like excited tourists who could scarcely believe they had got in, kicking back in Nancy pelosi’s office drinking her ice cold beer. Most of the people being charged are on a minor misdemeanour charge. Obviously there were people hurt and the perpetrators of that should be brought to justice but it was mainly all a bit of handbags at dawn compared to what we see around the world on almost a daily basis. |
Absolutely this in spades. Anyone who is outraged by that incident that wasn’t continuously outraged by what they saw for the 12 months previous - I question their honesty.

It was led by a fool , Trump, and consisted of a small army of right wing nut jobs. The fact it failed does not mean it was not real.

We detain people in custody pre trial in the UK, it’s usually referred to as on “remand”. There are strict criteria for remanding a person in Custody pre trial , but generally people who are remanded are flight risks, or potentially at risk of interfering with the investigation, have an extensive criminal record and remanded to prevent further offences being committed etc. There are more , but these are the main issues.

The American justice system is different to ours, but some aspects will be similar. From what I can see the individuals held in custody are charged with the most serious offending.

| Trumpet trying to avoid the truth on 16:24 - Nov 13 by Professor | What this does not state is that Simpkins did not kill Anyone and is charged with aggravated assault. He shot schoolmates with a handgun. Rittenhouse managed to kill three people with an assault weapon, being carried illegally in another state. Now if you ask me both should be in custody until trial, but that’s the US system. What is more apposite is the nature of the post. If you ever wonder why some on Phil’s site give this site the ‘Planet Stormfront’ moniker it’s things like this. A reposting of what is frankly an apologist for racism. How older white men living in largely white areas can judge there is no such thing as white privileged is laughable. Now race is far from the only barrier in the U.K., class and geography are too, but posts like this do us no favours. I’m prepared to believe this is not intentional, that these overtones were not thought through. But really if you want to post this reactionary nonsense there’s always the Mail Online comments |
Well said Prof As a white man I was once called a honky that's in my 55 years I work with lots of black and Asians the stuff the public call them is disgusting but all they get is told off by security 99 percent of the time Until us white folk start taking notice and challenge it's only going to go on or worse

It is to demonstrate that someone who actually shot 4 kids was out on bail in 2 days, nothing to do with colour or even the other case. The 200 Capitol building "trespassers" are still in jail after more than 6 months, in some cases up to 9 months under discusting conditions. Typical of you to jump all over it for something completely different, talk about an agenda.

Perhaps you should read and look at things more objectively rather than posting the first thing you find on we love trump.com it wherever else you get this racist nonsense. The first part addresses a legal reason why one was more readily afforded bail. In that Simpkins had killed no-one. Those arrested on January 6th are also facing federal not state charges. Now take responsibility for what you post. It really is a statement of an apologist for racism.

That just demonstrates a complete failure to understand the word "partisan" becasue my criticisms of Trump in no way mean I am a supporter of Harris, or Biden. It's quite a dimwitted approach really, when we are talking of Trump and I attack Trump, to claim I must be partisan to Harris because I'm not saying nasty things about her. I've been saying a lot of nasty things about Bojo recently, does that mean I am partisan to Labour? here's another criticism of Trump for you, https://www.msn.com/en-gb/ente now please try and explain why that makes me a Harris supporter. You can also defend trump again in the process. it's something you do a lot. Some might even suggest you are partisan to Trumps cause because you constantly defend him AND attack Harris and Biden. Can you show me where I have defended Harris or Biden?

Racism has nothing to do with it. He shot 4 kids, the fact he didn't kill any of them was down to their good luck and his bad shooting. Do you consider someone prepared to shoot 4 kids to be less risk to society than 200 trespassers?
| Trumpet trying to avoid the truth on 18:49 - Nov 13 with 489 views | felixstowe_jack | Amazing how the left wing loving EU have gone silent. When Trump build his wall, on the Mexican border, to keep out illegal immigrants and economic migrants he was almost universally condemed. The EU has now erected a barbed wire fence on the Polish Belarus border to keep out illegal immigrants and economic migrants. | |

You don’t get the point. The comment is YOU posted a comment from Twitter. That is my complaint, Not about Simpkins or Rttenhouse. You are so far down the rabbit hole you can’t see the light Rittenhouse shot people in the street. He killed people. He was carrying a weapon illegally. He is a criminal Let’s see what the ongoing trial and that of Simpkins lead to.

There is no lack of understanding at all. If there is a swipe to be had at Trump or an angle to take in which paints him in a bad lights, you are usually there. If there are opportunities to do the same on the other side, you are silent. When there are horrific things on the other side, you are silent - unless pressed. Partisan. Oh it hasn't upset me, though clearly you are trying to. it's just further proof that you are not as clever as you think you are, my dislike for Trump doesn't prove in any way shape or form that I support Biden and/or Harris. To try and claim it does is just puerile nonsense. Why shouldn't I dislike Trump, look at the person he trusts, the person he pardoned, https://uk.news.yahoo.com/mich If these are his friends, what is to like? Trying to claim that my dislike for Trump proves I am a friend to sleepy Joe and Harris, without providing any proof of such is, illogical, nonsensical and wrong. Go and look (you usually do when you are convinced you are right, which is most of the time) and if you can provide the evidence that I am a Biden and Harris supporter, go ahead. I won't hold my breath.

Why would I be trying to upset you? I am simply making an observation that when it comes to American politics, especially Trump era politics, you hold partisan views. Partisan. You are a friend to anyone that isn’t Trump, you are partisan via hate, which is why the majority of what you say on the subject is pure nonsense. It’s not driven by fact or reason, it’s driven by a twisted dislike for someone. Even your post protesting how unbiased you are, you go off on a tangent with a link about Trumps “friends” and attempting to judge him by association. Whatever insults you throw at me regarding my intellect, I’ll be safe in the knowledge that it will always be higher than yours Partisan.
