The circumstances of Brexit, pandemic, and the Tory govt actively undermining the devolved administrations have combined and a political response was required.
Welsh voters like people to work together. Professor Drakers wrote to the Welsh Tories as well mind, but they never replied.
A progressive alliance to beat the Brexit Tories will soon be the norm.

What undermines the devolved administration is the electoral absence of public interest, Killy.
What do you think the calculation is? One set of liars we can just about put up with, why pay for two?
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Most voters in Wales didn't vote, that's 53% of us who voted for neither to start with. Between them they got less than 669,000 votes out of over 2,420,000 so the truthful answer is around 27% of voters in Wales chose Labour or Plaid.
As you'll notice in the pandemic reports, Wales has worse rates than England.
Welsh voters might prefer honesty and integrity, not the say one thing then do another approach that your pal Adam has taken. Any hypocrisy is welcome though, if it gets them into power, even partial power eh.

Lack of public interest is what will allow them to increase the number of snouts in the trough too. from 60 to 80 and on to 100 that says. 100 MS's to run Wales, a good idea?

With a gender quota enshrined in law. So what you may or may not have swinging between your legs becomes more important than your ideas or ability.

It’s all about how one sees oneself. Sam Smith identifies as non binary
In my opinion Sam Smith is an attention seeking berk. Why do these people think we care what they identify as?
I mean, I'm a satanic leaf tailed gecko and who cares? Absolutely no one.
This Gender quota thing, it's another positive discrimination farce. It won't matter how good the candidate is just that it's not a man. Selection criteria definitely needs looking at but we should still only be looking for the best and not ruling anybody out based on gender.

The whole thing has only ever been a job creation scheme for second rate politicians. Can't blame them for wanting to double down if the people are f*cking stupid enough to let them.
Not one aspect of Welsh life Governed by the WG has improved since 1999. Statistically they could have accidentally got more things right than they have.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Good point, well made. In business you have a set of KPIs that determine if you keep your job. For a MS these would include
NHS Performance Education Attainment Economy and Employment Well-being
If you failed after 12months on all KPIs you'd be out without question.

Lets do this for Westmonster then …..
Waste money on Trident- £205 billion Hard Tory Brexit actually means the economy faces a cost of around £800 million a week HS2 - the plan will cost £96bn and is considered the “biggest transport investment programme in a century” restoring the Palace of Westminster, which could take up to 30 years and cost between £4bn and £6bn
Not much of the above helps Cymru.

The senedd is in charge in Wales they really need to sort out Wales problems. Failing Welsh NHS, Failing education system, Investment in new roads to boost the Welsh Economy. Not cancelling much need infrastructure projects like M4 relief road and many much needed bypasses. Wales has the lowest EMPLOYMENT rate in the UK, highest economicly inactive count. Wales must also encourage its biggest employment sector, tourism not drive them away.

I wonder what the polls would say today , 4 years ago we're weren't impressed, now I'd say even less so

Kilkenny keeps pushing indy as an inevitable outcome because "Westmonster" is so rubbish but if the Senedd is even more rubbish then common sense should tell you to make the least bad choice.
The Seendd says it needs more people to deal with it's extra powers, what extra powers are those exactly? The Senedd also says it hasn't got enough money but there is always enough to pay for even more politicians. 10 million per year for another 20 they say so that's probably 20 million in reality and where does that money come from? existing budgets so where do they make cuts or do they use the tax raising powers? Maybe they'll cut council funding so our council tax goes up even more.
There are more than enough shite politicians in Westminster, we don't need more government, we need less.
At one time the mantra was small government is best, not any more, the trough keeps expanding whichever UK region you live in.

I have asked you before but you never reply, why the concern for Wales ? You are obviously Irish, have Irish emoji's, something about the last rebel in your signature, yet you seem to care about Wales and Plaid etc etc .

Don't ask difficult questions, Tref!
Is it concern or maybe it's just stirring the pot?
The last rebel, ironic that he always accuses others of living in the past when he's stuck in 1406.
