| Covid variant B.1.1.529 on 16:00 - Dec 1 by Scotia | "The Therapeutic Goods Administration recorded 78,880 adverse events linked to COVID-19 vaccination, representing a small minority (0.21 per cent) of the 37.8 million doses administered to 18.4 million people, by November 7. The vast majority of those 78,000 adverse events were mild side effects, including headache, nausea and sore arms." So no more than 0.1% of those reported side effects are worse than feeling a little bit unwell. Probably considerably less depending on what a vast majority is? Compared to a 1% chance of dying from Covid and a far higher chance of getting severely ill from it. You will catch Covid. Surely that article shows that getting vaccinated is by far the best option. |
That data is so limited. Why don't you look at some real World data for yourself. Cardiac issues alone 142,872, including 23,500 Myo/Pericarditis, Vascular another 140,792, Blood & Lymphatic System another 109,271, Nervous System 1,113,759 plus 100s of thousands of others. http://vigiaccess.org/ They are only the ones that actually get reported, everyone knows that is the tip of the iceberg, except you & prof that is.

“ VigiAccess is intended as a useful starting point for people who wish to understand more about the types of potential side effects that have been reported in association with the use of medicinal products. However, VigiAccess cannot be used to infer any confirmed link between a suspected side effect and any specific medicine.” “Information in VigiAccess on potential side effects should not be interpreted as meaning that the medicinal product or its active substance either caused the observed effect or is unsafe to use.” “ A VigiAccess search on a medicinal product will return a basic list of reported potential side effects and the number of times each effect has been reported. However, the database does not include other factors needed to put that number into context, such as how many people have taken the product, how long they have taken it, how long it has been on the market, and the differing reporting practices that influence which observations are included in the reports.” It’s strange how all the sites you link to comes with a lengthy disclaimer telling you that the information may not be totally reliable.

Except the risk of the the adverse events is higher in moderate Covid than vaccination. The risk of infection-related myocarditis is more than double that of vaccines in young men and 18 times more prevalent for the population as whole. So do us all a favour, take the village idiot with you, and go and darken a different door with this BS Have a good weekend all.

Everyone knows that is the tip of the iceberg? No, everyone does not know that though some obviously suspect it. How can everyone know something there is absolutely no evidence for. That's how you conspiracists work though, isn't it. You make stuff up and demand that's it's fact. You provide some figures then claim "100s of thousands of others" but those numbers you posted are a tiney number in the total of vaccines given. Even if we round those numbers up and add on another 500,000 it's not 2 million which is a tiny perentage. In the USA alone they have given 296 million doses.

If you had looked at the link you would have seen those 100s of thousands for yourself. Don't forget to halve the jabs to get the number of people affected. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Someone unvaccinated who does a lateral flow test and gets a negative result cannot pass the virus on. Because they haven’t got it. Hence the need for the test. Those vaccinated who do carry the virus don’t. All should do lateral flow tests before entering nightclubs etc etc. Vaccination is not going to prevent you picking up Covid - therefore in the interest of public health everyone should do a test before going to one of the events that they are prescribed for unvaccinated people. Now surely even you can understand that?

I'd go as far as saying it clearly isn't the tip of the iceberg. I had the potential side effects of the vaccine pointed out to me (several times on the booster) and how to report them. I've never experienced that with any other vaccine. I had the flu vaccine the week afterwards and there was nothing similar. You'd have to consider coincidence in those figures too. That's before the massive (and ignored) caveat regarding using the figures. 20 million people predominantly over the age of 60 have had a booster dose since September. Many, many of those would have experienced these issues anyway before you consider similar impacts from a covid infection. It's just becoming the same nonsense on repeat from AFD. He can't see the wood for the trees. He's genuinely got problems.

What tragedy? Where are all these people.? I know plenty of people who have been unwell with Covid and several people who have lost relatives and friends. I know no one or personally heard of no-one who has a serious adverse effect from vaccination, beyond sore arm, a bit of fever/fatigue and certainly no one with any long-term ill effect. You should get vaccinated. Once Omicron hits, it seems highly likely that more people will be infected than previous variants. It's apparent mildness is almost certainly due to high immunity form vaccination or recent infection, though re-infection seems more frequent. Now stop this stupidity.

I didn't have them pointed out to me. I was told to wait 10 minutes and given a leaflet. Weren't they being more cautious with these vaccines though, because of the speed with which they'd had to act? I am the same as you, Scotia. I had minor effects, a sore arm, felt a bit crappy for an hour. I also don't know anyone either personally or through the grapevine who has had serious "adverse effects"

Tye only tragedy is the number of unvaccinated ending up in hospital, seriously ill and dying. The other tragedy is tye unvaccinated catching the virus and spreading it to others. All could be avoided or considerable reduced if they were vaccinated.

Please wake up. As others have said, every adult I know both very well and only really to have a passing converstaion with have had the more than one dose of the vaccine. I don't know anyone or even know anyone who knows anyone who's had more then mild side effects, most haven't even had those. I've said before our neighbours work in the morriston cardiac centre, they haven't told me of an up tick in "unusual" admissions and I've asked. The husband / father is envious of our vaccine rollout and wishes it was replicated in his native country. That unit covers a population of a million people in one of the most vaccinated countries in the world. I know paramedics and other Dr's too none have them have reported dealing with strange side effects and are all fully vaccinated themselves. They are not part of any conspiracy, They are run of the mill people just doing a job. Why don't you put in an FoI request and see for yourself instead of just believing this rubbish? I know plenty of people who've been really quite ill with covid, one who it seems to have been made diabetic and others who have died. I fully expect to contract Omnicron over the winter, you will catch it too unless you live like a hermit. You seem to have three choices. 1, Live like a hermit and keep believing this BS. 2, Catch covid and take the consequences of having no immunity. 3, Or get vaccinated. The first two seem really quite miserable to me.
