| Where is Walsh? on 13:10 - Dec 6 with 2148 views | Treforys_Jack | I've been asking this question myself, the Reading game would have been perfect for him to come on, but he sent on Downes instead which I thought was a bit of a gaff, obviously doesn't trust him enough. Shame as the very little I've seen of him, there looks to be a player there. | | | |

Maybe we should do a picture book, have the eponymous player hide in various crowded scenes and release it for Christmas, call it "Where's Walshy"

But Garrick and Joseph are impressing, the latter is really relishing his role at Plymouth, those two are positives. Joseph as well scoring the odd goal and they really like him at Cheltenham.

| Where is Walsh? on 23:37 - Dec 6 with 1701 views | AndyCole | He's still here, doing his level best, hanging on by a thread. Let's hope his manager (who didn't sign him, there's an ugly pattern emerging) recognises the Messi-esque in him to complement our BergkamPatoson-Van PiroBaston axis up top. He would genuinely be the missing link, if Martin had a shred of imagination in our frontline play. . . | |

Hard to set the world alight with a few minutes. That's the problem with assessing players like him, Obafemi, Whitts and others. How the hell can they get up to speed with just ten/fifteen minutes here and there? It's not like they get the full 90 minutes time and again to prove that they're not up to it like Grimes does.

We have a captain who passes the balck either backwards or sideways or simply loses the ball and in Smith the most anonymous player possible;why not give Walsh a chance .It it down to training? Why are not players given a chance under Martin.?

If it’s down to his lack of effort he shouldn’t get a game.

If a picture paint a thousands words... When has he being given a chance to prove IF IF a player underperforms at a game he should be subbed. This doesnt happen with us, IF players aren't playing well, they shouldn't be picked. We have a host of players who have at best been in cameo roles. It really is uncomfortable to post on here given the hostility.

| Where is Walsh? on 14:13 - Dec 7 with 1454 views | 34dfgdf54 | Walsh's performances in the friendlies were up there with the most overrated by our fans I have seen. He was consistently poor in possession, poor out of possession. Has he ever actually performed at this level or is he still living off his exploits in league one with Coventry? Not writing him off, I didn't think Paterson was going to be any good and he's been a pearler of a freebie, but don't see at all where the calls for Walsh to be starting are coming from. | | | |

I was one of those who was extremely disappointed with Paterson, but the manager saw him as fitting straight in to the side, which he has. First to,put my hands up there. Wonderful judgement by Martin. Much of the moaning about Martin fails to recognise this, plus Downes who was signed as a part of the agreement for Martin and his coaching team to come here. I think Walsh has been told he’s not in the managers plans, just a personal feeling, may be we will get more later in the week.

I can think of other dreadfull performances in friendlies. We just have to put our trust in Russ and his judgement. His opinion is all that matters
