The accounts are public. You can see where the money went.

Not only are the accounts public, the legal work between Swansea City and Manchester City surrounding Bony's transfer was leaked online years ago. You can what happened.

So many still think we received £35m for Bony because they saw that number on Sky Sports News. We saw nothing close to that.

The mismanagement by those here before the Americans took over is disgusting. Yet when people did try to raise that issue, whether online or at the stadium, they were viciously abused. I recall one gentleman putting up an anti Jenkins banner who was subsequently booed and escorted out of the stadium for his own safety.

It is very sad.

Stop whinging. Swansea city over the last 20 years have had a great run. Top 30 in the country for a decade. It is mid table in the Championship with no debt and a world class infrastructure and a solid management group and good sustainable owners (in the main).

The world is not a perfect place and even the very best cannot manage such that Swsnsea stay in the Premier leagues every season like Everton.

Huw Jenkins did a stupendous job at Swansea his final glorious act was to fall on his sword t prevent the Dan James under priced sale. Its brings a tear to my eye it does.

The SCST people should be ashamed of themselves. HJ and co increased their valuation by x 100. He put cash rich Americans on a table with them TWICE. This is practically unprecedented World football. Why did they not put at least some of their shares up for sale? Why did they not accept offers? Their strategy was to buy not sell to get to 25% holding and get something called "protection". They were £4m short. What kind of plan was that? A pretty dim plan if you ask me. 25% with no money. They want dividends but decline to invest. Power with no commitment.

We have found out from probing that when investment was needed Morgan and Jenkins perhaps put their hand in their pocket and the SCST probably declined. There is no evidence the were excluded.

Your last paragraph is very pertinent and nobody can have any illusions now .
You say all opinions are welcome and they should be.
You pre match Reading thread was incredible ,to me,for all the wrong reasons.

You either accept ALL opinions or you don't.

In the vaccination threads ,far more contentious, worth of derision and contempt are posted with impunity when the results of such warped thinking is literally lethal.

This is about bluddy football after all and we all know there are far more significant matters that should get us angry, upset and worried.

Everton,by the way,ARE a massive club.

Keith allows a lot of opinions but it doesn't mean he agrees with them. He is allowed his own point of view too.

The big difference is in the amount of abuse that is tolerated, which is hardly any before something is done. Any opinion is open to challenge and even to ridicule.

I remember the post telling people abuse wouldn't be tolerated, or too much bad language. I don't remember being told that pointing out where you think an opinion is wrong or taking the mick was no longer allowed?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I’ll tell you why because people on here, Keith included, Phil on the other site and not many others kick started the saving of our club, organised TV, radio press briefings, staged protests, meetings across the U.K. and in some cases put EVERYTHING on the line so you could follow this club today. To state they have no right to criticise that pile of crap last night that was meant to show solidarity is laughable. They are the epitome of modern football laziness. Name check Richard Lillycrap, the United swans protests, honestly your credibility is shot. Nobody sat on their backsides then, that’s his point, protests my arse. Everton ? Joke.

The media still references their actions today. To state what you did was completely disrespectful, and I’ll wait for you to twist it as you like.

Here, here.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Not allowed .?
Read it again.

Maybe it is down to misinterpretation .

As much is.

The fact different opinions are on here should be clear enough.

The fact people have differing opinions doesn’t mean an opinion isn’t allowed.

It’s madness to state otherwise.

The convertible loan note is a debt

Winter calls it an investment. It is intended to convert the debt into new shares. If the the SCST force the owners to buy their shares instead by court action, it will stay as a debt and the US people will recover their money and give the debt to somebody else. Winter will then have debts to pay. This is why the CLN has a 5 year period in my opinion.

The US people are smart. I like them. They want to invest in Swansea city. The SCST are not so smart and (probably) declined to invest in Swansea city. The narrative has changed. No one can argue that a successful SCST win in court and forced purchase of their shares will not have serious negative consequences for the club. It will in my opinion.

A 5 year convertible loan note (ie debt) at 5% interest isn’t smart

As I said I didn’t think you got the Reading thread.
All opinions are welcome, but the constant negativity towards every thing the manager does, and absolutely no recognition of his positives does get tiring for some. You have to accept that as much as other views have to be accepted.

As for Everton, I didn’t say they were not.

The context of the OP was twisted to undermine the swans support. And then twisted again to suit. But as I said all opinions are welcome. Just because somebody doesn’t agree with you doesn’t mean you are not accepted. It just means they don’t agree with you.

Morning Keith.
Thanks for a direct reply.
I stand by every word.
The Reading thread is there to be interpreted and that depends on the individual.
Some see it as you did and as you meant ;others like me did not and do not see it that way and you have to accept that.

I post as I see matters and after a flow of insults and took a week sabbatical during which I spent on other domestic matters but I kept a watching brief to reflect on the interaction on this site. I had several texts of actual "support" suggesting I remain on this site. Until other matters overcome me I 'll stay but it wuld nice if the usual suspects on here wouldnt revert to dig the like of which Fireboy reserves for AC every time. There are others just a guilty.

I do not have the trust some have in Martin and am worried as to ow his long term work in progress might turn out. I hope I am wrong.Truly. I love the bluddy club and have done all my life ;It is MY club wherever I live-same with you and many others-this I why detest those who crow about going to games when other do not. I am also a Swansea man and this club is in my veins as it was my father's. Recently I spoke to a cousin back home and discovered my first game at home was in 1956 when I used to sit on my dad'd knee first row Centre Stand seat number believed to be 57.

There ya go
