I used to really like this site but it’s depressing now, full of horrible posts decrying what our nhs has done and sacrificed over the past two years.

It’s a worry. And has turned nasty here in recent weeks. The next few months are going to be rough, of which there was always a chance, and to not be vaccinated if you can is both stupid and selfish. There are those who cannot be vaccinated or where vaccination is less effective. We should protect them through vaccination not be condemning them to isolation indefinitely. If I have to endure another video showing some spurious claim, or an ‘expert’ who is not it may be the final straw. I’m not a coronavirus expert by any means, but to be honest, those who really are like my good colleagues in Liverpool and those in other universities like Edinburgh and Bristol or the old PHE lab at Porton Down have barely been in the media as they have been so busy. Everyone has pitched to help with staff, resources or covering teaching to free up important work. We know more about the virus daily and I genuinely hope we will get a handle on it in coming months and over the next couple of years. | | | |

Let's face it, any talk of pro vaccine or anti vaccine is irrelevant, I doubt anyone reading these forums would be swayed into such a decision by another persons views.
I have been over the bay this week taking a relative for their booster, nothing said on journey regarding their decision.
My only concern with all what's happening with the vaccine, is the extra baggage that comes with it, masks and lockdowns, now they do need discussion.
Because the way I see it, we are heading for another nationwide lockdown, within a few weeks, So I think questions need to be asked, and frustrations poured out. |  |
