| EFL players refusing to be vaccinated is cause for concern ? on 17:57 - Dec 16 with 1746 views | felixstowe_jack | Incredible how stupid 25% of footballers are. They are more than happy to get people to pump ink into them but not a vaccine that could save their lives or prevent serious health problems. Time the EFL made it compulsory and backed the clubs so that unvaccinated players are not paid. Fans have to have a vaccine passport to go to matches but not the players. Games are now being postponed at short notice often after the fans have already paid for tickets and travel costs. [Post edited 17 Dec 2021 9:07]

| EFL players refusing to be vaccinated is cause for concern ? on 18:13 - Dec 16 with 1716 views | KeithHaynes | New bit of news. Only 59% vaccinated once, twice,,or want to be vaccinated. This doesn’t include the 25% who will not be vaccinated. | |

I see footballers as irresponsible proven by so many not taking a jab. Result is this situation but they so selfish they do not think for the greater good of the game. No jab ,no play

Couldn’t players just have covid passport instead of forcing vaccination? Same as the fans?

They could also avoid close contact after coring a goal. We are almost seeing live sex during some celebrations No jab ,no pay. It is their duty and they should be setting an example.

I don’t totally disagree but was pointing out an above post suggested we have to be vaccinated to watch games which is untrue (for now at least)

Players have been constantly checked/passported since football returned. But they travel and train together most days of the week, it's a different issue to fans who just sit in a stadium for two hours.
| EFL players refusing to be vaccinated is cause for concern ? on 21:09 - Dec 16 with 1571 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The football world only really acts after criticism and once the TV companies complain that their games keep getting postponed and big cash is being lost as advertisers pull out. Clubs should banish un vaccinated players temporarily from their squads to save the program. | |

'All our players have been double vaccinated, a couple been booster-ed already with plans for all.......' If ever there was a role model. Btw, where's Martine, our leader, in all of this ? . .

| EFL players refusing to be vaccinated is cause for concern ? on 09:14 - Dec 17 with 1407 views | felixstowe_jack | I see in that Bayern Munich refused to pay five unvaccinated players for every game or training day they missed due then quarantining after coming into contact with a covoid positive case. This seems the way to go, your choice to have the vaccine but you then suffer the financial consequences yourself. Canada is not allowing unvaccinated NBA players to travel to the County. The NBA players have a 97% vaccination rate. Only vaccinated players will be allowed ar tye Australian Open in the new year. Our government should stop any unvaccinated non UK nationals from entering the Country and that should include football and Rugby players | |

| EFL players refusing to be vaccinated is cause for concern ? on 09:25 - Dec 17 with 1395 views | hobo | Makes no difference vaccinated or not. Players aren't going to become hospitalised with covid so there's no reason for them to get the vax. On the flip side though, if they develop heart problems as a result of having the injecction, then that's their career over. I'm amazed that 50%+ have decided to have it, but no doubt they've sadly been pressured into it from their club | | | |

Far More chance of developing heart problems if you catch covoid than if you have the vaccine .

Might be a clue there Guv as to why its so easily spread in the game I might have mentioned close contact of the most physical kind when celebrating a goal. And Sean Dyche says ,"No pressure to get vaccinated". There ya go.

Some people have convinced themselves that the vaccine has no positive effects, only dangerous side effects that are going to kill us all in the next 6 months... no, 3 years... just wait, in 10 years you'll all be sorry...

25% footballers say they WILL NOT get any vax. Think of the arrogance of this If 25% of the country decide not too,we will see slaughter. No vax then fark off .

And then there’s the other 18% ( included innthe 57%) on top of that who are ‘ thinking ‘ about getting vaccinated. So overall today’s figures tell us 43% of EFL players are unvaccinated.
