| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Indeed. Done us a favour today - Forest drowned out our support completely just over a month ago. Embarrassing

I have to say I watch all the games from here and on every occasion the swans support is always the loudest at home. I can understand why they got a bit down in the dumps against Forest but atmosphere was pretty decent for that one.

| Preston support on 13:40 - Jan 23 with 1448 views | OptimisticJack | Some reasons perhaps - Little money around this time of the year for many. Little time to plan as Drakeford in his wisdom closed us down until last week. As mentioned it's hell of a journey. However our away fans are a different class. We have an amazing away following and have to travel much further than most teams. [Post edited 23 Jan 2022 15:17]

Our away support is fantastic. 1400 to Huddersfield last week. Hull next week a 600 mile round trip, we will still have good support. QPR this Tuesday night we will have 1500 minimum.

It is incredible when you consider where we are geographically. Apart from Carlisle and maybe Plymouth there’s very few teams as isolated as we are.

We have many supporters who have moved away and find the away games easier to get to than matches at the liberty.

I do think the people of Swansea and surrounding areas should support the Swans more, a Sheffield Wednesday supporter came with me yesterday and he always bangs on about that he thinks the Swans could be a big club. He also pointed out hat the rugby has been a big bug bearer down here and if the season in rugby was like League he is sure the Swans would be better supported

Not sure there is any difference in the support size for both us and Cardiff. People follow other clubs everywhere. I still believe the biggest club in Swansea is Swansea, as it is in Cardiff.

| Preston support on 15:30 - Jan 23 with 1286 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | The away attendance was 339 for a game that went ahead at short notice during Winter. I'm not sure why that is worthy of insult, considering we took just 200 more (539) for a Saturday afternoon fixture during the Summer holidays. I hope all 339 Preston supporters had a safe journey home. | |

I do believe we blew that away attendance out of the water via a picture of the swans travelling support that day. And this isn’t 339.

It looks like they're clapping. Was that taken before kick off or after the full time whistle?

During the game 62 mins. Official photo. Reuters. Same last week Dwight, Huddersfield fans seriously questioned the 1,200 they reckoned more like 500 more.

Yeah, I’m always so impressed by the support in the North West games which are local to me. Absolutely amazing
| Preston support on 17:29 - Jan 23 with 1097 views | LittleEnglandJack | A lot of opposition fans take the piss out of our away support (especially up north) but we almost always take more to them than they do to us. | | | |

No restrictions to come to a football match.
