Scored for Lincoln

You have to question if the players are gaining anything from these loans.

I question whether these players are good enough. Both want to be first team players in the Championship and ultimately the Premier league for Swansea.

They are not auto picks in a lower half struggling League 1 team. Neither are kids anymore.

A wake up call for both players. Possibly RM was correct in his assessment of both

True, amazing how professionals can see things differently to keyboard warriors.

Lincoln fans really aren't impressed with Whittaker, had a good debut & has been gash since.

Over the years young players have reflected on tough loan spells and concurred the struggles they had on loan really helped them. Both player are in a dog fight to build a career with potentially staggering rewards.

At 21 years they are not youths anymore. To a certain extent it is now or never although player do drift out of the game and back in. Jamal Lowe being one.

I really can't see Cullen having a career at Championship level I'm afraid.
Whittaker has more ability undoubtedly but his movement is poor & defensively he's a bit clueless - it's mostly a mental issue with him. He might make it but not looking promising

Swansea have long had a striker who can defend the near post at corners, Bony is a great example.
Sadly these two don’t or can’t do that. I think that’s one of our issues this season.

Yeah, Llorente & Ayew were decent at that as well.
We're weak on corners full stop, how many have we had this season without scoring? 🙄

As I said on another thread, Piroe is better at defending set plays than attacking. Makes no sense really.

Wouldnt Derby have kept him if he was so good? We had him for peanuts.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Wasn't the fee about £700K?

They were forced to sell because of their financial issues. No big difference between that fee and what we paid for Joseph and Piroe.

For all those saying he needed to be played more take a look at what Lincoln supporters make of him. Lack of application and willingness to defend seem a common theme. I suspect Russ and Cooper saw that side of him hence their reluctance to play him.

Er, Cooper 😂💁‍♂️
I think it was actually rising to 800k.
Initial payment around 400k.

That can't be right apparently Cooper spent very little on players and was given a very small budget.

I can recall many strikers being called lazy but it was forgotten when they did their job which was to score goals .

Which he quite obviously isn't.

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Coming on in the 92 nd min of a game doesn’t really give the lad much chance .
But ,you know better .

Whittaker signing has been a cluster fark all ends up.

He wasn’t ready, he wasn’t worth what we paid.

I would say the last 3 mangers that he has had have not played him Cooper/Martin/Appleton, but you know better.
