At best Trump is guilty of ignoring the law, which he was informed about by all accounts. Not a good thing for the leader of any country to do. This isn't unsubstantiated though, there are government staffers saying they had to tape paperwork back together. This paperwork exists and can be brought forward as evidence.
I also haven't seen Trump dispute this story. Any links to show he has? There is an official record of everything, it is a legal requirement in the USA for all documents to be kept and sent to the national archive and they have the paperwork that has been taped back together,

I wouldn't describe Rittenhouse as a hero. I don’t think many do to be fair.
I think he is viewed as a kid with excellent ethics and community minded, who defended himself against attackers. Wouldn’t say it’s heroic as such, but he did what I hope everyone in that situation would do.
I know if I was carrying a gun in a state I was perfectly allowed to and I faced the option of shooting someone or taking a severe beating from an armed mob and gambling whether I come out alive or not, I’d shoot.
