How much longer is this idiot going to be allowed to influence Swansea City games ?
Not my words, the words of Steve Cooper last season when he was accused of blatant fraud, yes that’s the word he used, and no legal action came from it. Just a small fine.

Pathetic, we’ve looked excellent tonight and this Corrupt official is allowed to still function.

He should be referring Italian league games with bank balances being the decider.

Very misleading thread this.
Woolmer was the 4th official with no influence on the game whatsoever.

Don't the 4th official and ref have direct contact through mikes and earpieces? I thought they did. Otherwise how does the 4th official know how much injury time to put up on the board?

Even if he doesn't we don't know what Woolmer might have said to the ref after the challenge, he may have shouted something to him.

I'm sure if we had recording devices by the dugouts we'd hear some very juicy comments from staff AND officials.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Why have one then ?

Of course he has, be that before, during or after the game. Talking to other officials at the match, offering opinion etc. If Cooper is right and he hasn’t been challenged to the contrary, then this guy has a lot to answer for. He even allowed himself to be pushed about on the touch line by Fulham staff according to Martin.

Misleading ? Impossible, unless you are saying Cooper misled everyone when he called him unprofessional, incompetent, biased and with agendas against him and the swans. And even reported Woolmer to the EFL before the game he clearly influenced against Sheffield Wednesday. It’s an opinion, that’s all, but to say a match official doesn’t have an influence on a game is a bit daft mate.

Wasn't Woolmer the same referee that gave nothing when Lansbury blatantly kicked manning Manning up in the air when the game was on stop of a free kick ?

As for last nights game, a red card was probably the decision you'd expect from any fair and consistent referee, unfortunately Woolmer was neither, if he could pull a gun out of his holster as fast as he puled that red card out, he'd give Billy the jitters.

Like many others, I thought until the sending off, it was one of the best we've played this season, especially against a team that is tearing this leagues apart.

Still no goals from set play, and still no penalties, but we can only hope that our luck changes on Saturday.

No, that was another pr1ck of a referee, Tony Harrington.

4th official has absolutely no jurisdiction as to what goes on, on the field of play.
With regards to the history with Cooper I agree with what you say Keith.
Wouldn't be surprised if it may have stemmed historically through Cooper's father Keith another referee with an attitude.
Maybe refereeing politics or just petty jealousies.

He has no jurisdiction no, that doesn't mean he can't share his opinion. He's a qualified and serving ref, the ref on the pitch wouldn't just ignore him and could be influenced.

I'll repeat though, I think it was a red card.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I just think the guy has such a well documented past with us it’s inevitable he will behave unprofessionally 👍

Ive watched other games previously involving Fulham and I have noticed that Luis Boa Morte is particu;arly aggressive when there is a perception of an injustice or foul play against his team .

Perhaps he said to the referee via his microphone that it was a straight red.

I am sure he also talked about the Swans to the referee in the in the hours prior to the match it is what the four officials do in their prematch build up.
