My wife has a gardener, a butler and chauffeur too! I only have a maid though.
I have a pretty good work/life balance, plenty wouldn't call me successful but as a family, we are all happy, I'm very happy and content which to me IS success.
No point in having a highfalutin job if it turns you into...well, you know!

Why do you believe it is boasting? This thread is talking about those that employ gardeners, should I not have had a say then? We have a maid once a week too, but maybe I shouldn’t say that if it upsets you.
I’m not on here for 16 hours a day, it’s not a physical place. I posted from the Melbourne F1 the other week, I posted from the Australian Open in January. I’ve posted from Whitsunday Islands and the Caribbean.

I have no issues with gardeners ect some elderly or disabled people are unable to maintain their gardens and are very proud. Just as long as the people doing the job pay their tax. |
If people can afford to or can't thats on them, if a bloke grafting can make a few bob out of the situation thats great.
Its they way of the world now, £100 tv deals, expensive financed cars, designer clothes, god knows what else.

My wif and I tidied up our elderly limited mobility neighbours front yesterday (no grass) just weeded out his terracing etc , then put some deterrent down last night.
