2.5 billion people worldwide watched Princess Diana's funeral, thought it was worth mentioning!

Probably her ex boyfriends paying their respects.

One thing is for sure and that is the entire worlds press/media will be there in U.K capitol to record and show her Jubilee balcony appearance along with the fly-past and adoring cheering crowds.

And when she finishes her reign and when there is a coronation over two billion worldwide will watch it. Extremely profound interest U.K royalty gets worldwide.

It’s a strange one, a lot of people, me included have some form of affection for the Queen. She’s very elderly lady who has served the country well and deserves her jubilee.

They are still worth a lot of money to this country, the Americans would love our history, centuries of nutters that have been on the throne is fascinating and it would be a huge step to stop that. We’re in a position, arguably due to Brexit that we need all the help we can get with trade deals. Rightly or wrongly, heads of state still respect the queen and our traditions. It still means something to foreign states and that in itself is worth preserving, purely as an asset.

If we get to the stage where the US President eg, doesn’t want to meet the Queen/King, then something could happen. Until then, it’ll remain.

I, for one am coming home on Thursday to watch all the nonsense with mum and dad. It is a historic event, we’ll never see the like again.

I agree the likes of Titchmarsh was galling but when a mega famous person like Tom Cruise is an awe of her shows you how they are still respected around the world (well the queen at least)

After her ? Crumbs, who knows.

It will be cut down to Charlie, William and his kids, the others don’t need to be there.

Let her have her day and see our her days with her horses.

Yeah I think with people generally living longer it’s the last time someone will ever have seventy years on the throne. From here on out all our monarchs will be at least sixty before even ascending. It’s not like the good old days where the princes were getting murdered in the tower.

From my viewpoint the whole weekend event will , with respect to the Queen , centres around the role taken by andrew , cannot even input a capital A for his name .

Got some sympathy for Harry though , but he made his bed and has to sleep in it now , are he and Megan scheduled to appear over the weekend , not sure .

As said earlier , to the rest of the world this is live soap opera stuff and the social media and saturation TV coverage planned will hopefully recognise her obvious respected standing .

Wonderful woman GSTQ

It's amazing that probably the vast majority of the country would have only ever have known one monarch.

She personally has done so much for the Country

I wonder if the Queen is coming towards the end, before Phil the Greek I thought she was nailed on to live as long as her mother did but after Phil the Geek she seems to have gone downhill a little, so who knows now how long she will last.

Celebrating the overlordship of one of the richest individuals in your country, during.a cost of living crisis, really should be one of those "now is not the time moments" - just saying

It's no wonder the Republican movement isn't getting it's message to the public with comments like that

I'm not particularly aware of a republican movement of any scale in Britain to be honest.

Jim, if we got rid of the politicians and put Charlie in charge I doubt it would much different, he's been on about the environment and housing for decades.

Hard to argue with that Killy
Johno is pretty much indefensible
Seeing as we see many matters differently,it surely shows Boris is beyond contempt.
