lol
Ive just cpme back from a bike ride and went down Chris Boardman's street which is one of 800+k dwellings. Road closed to traffic and denizens all out with tables on the road with table cloths ,napkins and Champagne beer ,cakes, sarnies ,pork pies, olives and home cooked beetroot.
Being a hypocrite,I took advantage of the situation and blagged a handful of Greek Olives and a glass of Bollinger.

Wirral far less left wing overall and west Wirral positively Tory.

It is summer though

Largest party but NO OVERALL CONTROL which is very evident

The boundaries were rejigged in 74,I think and it changed the political landscape as "west" Wirral being Labour looks,at face value, ludicrous. If you got out of your valley and popped up,you d get my drift.

Birkenhead is as strong Labour as Ebbw Vale.

Whilst it would be amazing I hugely doubt this will happen. Hopefully she stays with us for a good while longer but her ability to attend royal duties is diminishing rapidly. I expect a succession to happen and she can enjoy her twilight in peace.

While the vast world leaders paid tributes to the Queen 70 year Reign Ms von der Leyen (president of the European commission and Mr Michel ( president of the European Council) remained silent

Just shows how petty and vindictive the EU has become.

I think you'll find d that historically the EU has always been petty minded and vindictive but more so since brexit .
