Ticket sales are up.

You are talking numbers "shifted".

What I posted was what I was informed and to be informative to other posters.... You didn't like it and as usual threw your toys out of your pram.

My figures tally with the other poster and as I said.... We had as of the date I gave sold more this year to last.

Once again, if these things can't be accepted by yourself and you take it personally then maybe you should take a break from this site or even pack it in because you are just continually showing yourself up with your silly nonsense.

No toys thrown anywhere.

You tried to make out that we had more ST holders this season than last in an effort to show that the Swans fans were behind what is being done on the pitch. It was not true, we are down about 1000, maybe more.

Every 10th person seems to have ditched their ST, roughly.

It appears that some fans really don't get the logic of business here.

So it appears and I am guessing here, we around 500 down on tickets that fans have bought/obtained to last year. This year the tickets are more expensive and there has been no eye catching special offers. I think it would be clear that we have likely pulled in more money in regards to season tickets this summer compared to last summer.

What if, our last 1k tickets were offered to school children/key workers for let's say £99 between now and the start of the season, they would likely go and go quick. This would result in us selling our season tickets and the club then announcing all tickets being sold.... WOW many would say but the stark reality would be that it's not quite as clear as it would appear.

Last season the club had to honour around 700 tickets to the previous non covid show, those tickets were put onto the 2021/22 season.

The numbers don't show a true reflection, the basis from the previous season can't really be compared but one thing is clear......we are not well down on sales compared to last season and for those who like to challenge other posters then it's head scratching that the OP hasn't been questioned especially taking into account posters being questioned when they say sales are up, consistency again!

Listen all, sales are good, more money has been taken in this summer than last. One thing has been shown, prices are not as good as last season and I can understand some fans not renewing financially but all taken into consideration......plenty of fans are still hungry for that match day experience and want to get behind the Swans and show their support, not sure what the season ticket numbers stand of today but more money has been spent this season than last, dedication and support is still there.

Holes can be picked but you can only applaud those people who put their hands in their pockets. I haven't got a season myself but I will be buying tickets through the season and I help contribute sponsorship towards the club.

I posted a similar thing on both threads, wherever sales are, the number that will matter will be the number sold and the bums on seats for the first game.

Anything before that is just pointless. There's a bit of tilting at windmills going on here, we are all Swansea fans. Our ideas about what we have, what we need..well lots of things, those ideas can be vastly different but we all want the club to prosper.

Exactly, its been a silly game of trying to score points again. Roll on the new season.

No games, no point scoring, just facts.

Although I notice yet again you have tried your best to side with the nonsense side of the discussion. Can't think why..

If I had made such a statement then the usual suspect, you included would be all over it. Trick is to not lie in the first place in order to sway a narrative. It will always be found out with time.

This season, these excuses and misdirection won't be tolerated. The fanbase have had enough, of that im sure.

Season tickets I’m told are around 12,950 this week.
That’s the info, they knew I would put it on here so I assume that’s correct.

Daps didn't give a number. He incorrectly tried to portray that we had more ST holders 3 weeks ago than we did a year previous.

The truth is we are still behind that initial figure and what appears to be around 1000 down on this point last season.

He got it wrong as you know, despite your trolling.

But thanks for clarifying.

My dialogue from this, we had sold 12,200 tickets as of the 23rd May last season, around 700 were gratis taking the amount of tickets taken up to nearly 13k.

As of the 23rd of May this year, we had sold over 12,200 season tickets. In appx 3 weeks since, we have sold about 500 season tickets appx....thats not bad going at all.

By this rate we should fingers crossed get the 14k sales, taking into account the price differences then it shows a superb commitment by many fans.

As I said before, key word here is "sold". I know a lot of fans who had a roll over on tickets from the 2020/21 season.

Going by all that, I think that the sale of tickets are encouraging in numbers so far this season.

Whatever the ST sales are, I expect crowds to be slightly down given the economic climate. Maybe some people have gone for an ST because it works out cheaper over all though.

Whichever way you slice it I expect clubs across the EFL to see a drop in revenue because people have less money free to spend so I genuinely think crowds everywhere will be a bit lower next season and those that do go won't want to pay 2.80 for a small bottle of pop or the silly prices for a crap cup of tea and a mars bar.

Mark them to correlate with any medication you take, diabetes, blood disorders etc. Obviously if you have certain ailments. There are many other products the club doesn’t sell that can’t be taken by almost half of the country who take meds.

Should hit the 14000 by the start of the season. That's impressive Keith.

If we hit 14,000 - Daps would still be wrong.

It would be an incredibly slow burn, probably due to the dire football we saw last season.

According to the fans forum the club are trying to justify food and drink price increases on the concourse for next season. Rising costs is a nonsense excuse for goods already being marked up well above cost price.

Depends what constitutes a good season.

Was supposed to be a promotion push this season, but those saying so have since gone cold on the idea and pretending same again will be “good”.

I know I was factually correct as of the May 23rd figures.

Can't really state what the sales are as of today and can't compare to what we sold as of the 17th June last year as we have no figure to compare with.

We had moved 14k tickets come the start of last season so unless we have a sold figure(this year) from the club along with a number sold last year to an extract date to compare....we won't know where we stand.

Hopefully we sell the 14k and shows the support and the enjoyment of the match day experience is still there for the vast majority, I am sure it still is.

If Keith is correct and we are touching on the 13k then I have no doubt the next 4/5wks will generate the 14k.
