Very true, although those with an intense inner hatred usually veer that way to the left. As currently they are the side that is trying to police thought so they have a channel to vent their hate and anger. The other side tends to value discussion, debate and intelligent thought.

There is a saying: “To anger a conservative, lie to him. To anger a liberal, tell him the truth”.

Problem is the left died with Tony Benn and the right died with Thatcher.

Didn’t you say that if people do something then you can’t question why and must accept their reasoning?

Or does that only apply as and when?

People have told you why they don’t like it. But instead you insinuate they are racists?

I didn't say any of that, nor insinuate anyone is racist.

I said "it's [taking the knee is] nothing to do with racism, apparently." As that's what people are saying here. It's for BLM.

That was my point, nothing else, so I think you got mixed up there

BLM is about racism.

But a version of racism that is built on a lie (police targeting African Americans to kill). But it’s a political movement steeped in socialism, anti-semitism, they want to defund the police and dismantle the nuclear family unit.

Vile organisation which uses black people to further their political aims. They don’t care if a black person kills another black person, they only care about the handful of incidents where a black person is killed by a white police officer.

If BLM cared about black lives then they would be talking about their incredible rate of single parenthood, or intra-racial homicides. They negatively affect black lives far more than police officers that’s for sure.

Young impressionable people (such as Brewster for example) bought in to that nonsense and showed his support on the pitch. This is what people were opposing.

Let’s just expose some of the blatant hypocrisy from some of these clubs/players/fans and pundits.

How many of these clubs/players/fans and pundits have spoken out regarding the 6,500 migrant workers who have died building the stadiums since Qatar were awarded the World Cup.

Where is Swansea City fc statement regarding the deaths ?

Well the downside of not taking the knee is that dgt73 has renewed his season ticket - just in case anybody missed that breaking new story.

I've heard that the 6 rows around him have now been vacated.

😂

Seriously though, I find it quite sad that a fan stops going to games because of the knee and then decides to ho back once it's dropped.

The choice you have is surely not to stand up or/and clap if you don't support it. I think it just goes to show how powerful the movement was that it dictated enough to people who didn't like it not to go.......we all have choices but when the incorrect choices are being then it then proves that taking the knee worked.

As I typed previously, glad it's stopped because its done its course but so glad to read that it made such a statement that it stopped people going to games to support their teams...... It obviously got in people's head enough who were so against it, think that tells us enough.

I disliked the knee but to stay away breaches the bounds of sanity. He could have turned away from it. There is signalling all over the place.Look at Ukraine and the flag waving. Meaningless really as we alow Rusia to carry on now bombing prisoners of war and castrating them.

Yet, we navel gaze about allowing Russians to play sport against other nations

Of course it's insane to stay away, it controlled him so much that it kept him away from games, scary thing is that he states he has his own mind.........if there was no take the knee then he carries on going to games.

Unfortunately this is the so iety that we live in, channeling their issues down the wrong route and suggesting that they are their own people and will not be dictated when the reality is that their actions are clear indications that they are being dictated without realising it.
