Instead of gangs ,could we use a more generic term in "group" .
Keith, there are posters who have been exchanging pleasantries for 15/20 yrs and old habits die hard.
Nobody should be afraid to post their opinion. I opine many do. It is remarkable how many fans I have spoken to over the years eshew this place because of the insults,however veiled.
The smarter of of posters can insult in more subtle ways and sarcasm a beautiful conduit to do so.

Keith you have a problem in that your site will be overrun with posters with highly negative view of the club manager team Owners and in some case Wales in general. Serial pessimistic downbeats. One fellow appears to hate Wales hate Swansea people hated Copper hated Martin hated Woodman with a vengeance and hates Fisher even more.
It seems to me these people take a stranglehold on your site especially after disappointment and they are armed with data and information to accentuating disappointment and discourage people from attending games. The thread on attendances is a case in point.
This has lead to bizarre scenarios where the men that took Swansea from nowhere to the Premier league are vilified. Toxic posting become a toxic fact. If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes fact. Jenkins and Morgan are therefore 'sell outs' while the totally useless Trust will somehow save the club. They have no money because they are useless.

The site is over run with people of many opinions and they can’t accept anything other than their own opinion. That’s the issue.

It’s not posters having a negative view of the club or the team or the management, they just have a general bad view of each other. These problems will always occur while moderating is weighted in favour of certain individuals.
There is a trolling campaign going on at the moment calling anyone who is critical of being 15th and 14th a multi and stating they are the same person.
This is simply done to troll and cause conflict, yet those seeds of conflict are left there to grow.
Destroy the seeds, destroy the conflict.
And the good thing is, once you destroy those seeds, the trouble makers have nothing left to fight with as they are terrible orators and authors of views - so they tend to disappear.

Why would the thread on attendances discourage people to attend matches?
You don’t half talk a lot of nonsense.
Are you annoyed because you tried to claim Charlie Morgan won the League Cup for us, with me responding we were 2-0 up prior to the incident you refer to which was the 80th minute.
If people are being realistic and back their views with facts and data then you should be applauding them and learning from them rather than criticising them.
I know you like to put forward unsubstantiated nonsense and data and facts are inconvenient to that - but that’s life. You can’t just say any old rubbish and expect it to hold water, others will be far more analytical than that.
Be thankful you have the opportunity to read and learn from such posters. Not all forums have such excellent contributors. | |

I respect the honesty there, admitting you don't find it easy to ignore.
The better and stronger people will always ignore, ultimately the majority of things on here mean nothing so ignoring is a lot if the time the best option.
I am guilty of not doing that on times but I do it on times.
Always remember, weaker people will always make excuses and channel things towards other posters just to make themselves look better and/or correct.
You can ignore without using the button. Some posters will always go out if their way to post towards others and posters will quite a lot if the time deny things and twist things but it's always done to suit their own.
Ignoring is always the best, strongest and decent thing to do in the majority of these incidents that Keith types about.

Those that complain the most will never use the ignore function, they revel in the trouble and conflict they cause.
Their sole intention is to cause conflict in order to complain about it. If you took that away from them, they would have to talk intelligently about subjects - something many of them find very difficult to do. | |
