Looking at static caravans 19:00 - Dec 21 with 4330 viewsCountyJim

Mrs and me really fancy one we can't really go abroad as she's now caring for her mum, So we've been looking fairly local Jesus wept!! Looking like a minimum 5k a year in fees alone.

Any recommendations in Gower area for example.

As I said we can't travel to far perhaps hour to hour and a half

We go to the Beacons when possible, with your dogs great walks, and the nights outside on a clear night is a sight to behold.

Sounds great.
Apparently great site up by Dan Yr Ogof caves ?
Worth a look ?

Take into account your likes/dislike, there may be no need to be at the more expensive coast sites.
Your finances! may be a cheaper better option to have a tourer and have it stored at the site /area you like, and they will park it up ready for your arrival , giving you different neighbours (may be better than having the same lot you may not get along with all the time)

We have ours ( 6 berth tourer) sited north of Narberth , fees half the price if not more than the price of a static, ideal travelling time for the west and the south coast of Wales . It's over wintered there as well ,and it's a secure site with all the facilities + if you don't like it try a season then move on rather that be tied with a long term contract . For us from Swansea it's about a 50 minute drive close enough and far enough .

The Dan Yr Ogof caves site is really good, absolutely spotless, and in a fantastic spot, especially if you like walking.

Just up the road (walking distance) is the Tafarn y Garreg pub, If you mention my name, they may even let you in.

The Ancient Brittan used to do a great meal. Haven’t stopped there for about 3 years.
