Allegedly the recall had nothing to do with Morgan being sold but interest is now being generated for his signature.  1

Never accept the first couple of bids, the fact that Martin has made it public suggests that the deal is still open in my eyes.
We will squeeze a couple of extra quid out of it and a sell on fee. |  |

Martin stated that Swansea did not end Whittaker's loan to enable a sale. The plan was to play him and enhance his value further.
Obafemi's value is falling he longer he stay out of the side. Ogbene is not a prolific goal scorrer like Whittaker even when he was also in league 1. |  |

He can’t play him otherwise he’s finished for the season, won’t be able to sign for another club and play for them ( bar Plymouth ) and they haven’t got what the swans want. | |

I said that they said he hasn't been brought back to be sold, but it seems he clearly has and that's why he's back, Winter and others were obviously approached regarding buying him and those willing to buy wanted him in this window and that's why he's back.

In some respects It’s a shame that MO can’t get his head In gear as I think MW would be the type of attacking midfielder that would suit his style. He likes to play off the shoulder of defenders and from what I’ve seen of MW he likes that type of forward in front of him. It could of been an exciting partnership but we’ll never know as MO has to go and money talks with MW | | | |

If it's anything like Dragons Den sometimes the bid gets withdrawn and they move onto other targets.
In hindsight we should of got rid last window.
But by turning it down and then not picking him his value has plummeted take it out of Russ wages. [Post edited 13 Jan 2023 16:16]
