| Exeter City right back bid rejected, Swans to bid again ? on 13:34 - Jan 29 by pencoedjack | You are not bursting my bubble mate I said I don’t expect him to go anywhere. I have no problem running a tight ship just that the small amount of funds that were made available were given to a decent manager. I also said some supporters are happy with Martin personally as stated many times I’m bored sh*tless watching us. |
Overall though you haven’t gone a weird campaign of hate as some do on here. You generally explain why, and haven’t made it personal. Some could learn from that.

| Exeter City right back bid rejected, Swans to bid again ? on 13:26 - Jan 29 by Fireboy2 | Ogbeta? A player he didn't want. Manning is worth it imo, he leaves and we have no recognised lb. You are right they know how to run a business and they know f@#£ all about football thats why people shouldn't moan that we are a solid mid table championship club, the PL days are long gone and we are very unlikely to get back there with these lot in charge, I have accepted it some people should also. |
I don’t care about the PL I just want a well run football club who serve up entertaining football, of course as with all supporters I want promotion. Away games are great for the craic but I’m finding it different to even bother to drive down to home games. Never felt like that in 40 years following the Swans.

Whittaker and Jospeh have pace too, Joseph certainly looks quicker than Piroe to me...and Cullen. I know Martin doesn't rate Ogbeta but he didn't rate Futlon either AND on the other hand he does rate Sorinola and Latibeaudiere, for me his judgement is dodgy. Specially given his judgement on team formation, selection and tactics as we have seen several times when he changes it, we play well and even win a few but he reverts to wing backs and the slow play and suicidal passing at the back. Hs judgement is flawed in my opinion.

That’s what your board should be about Keith (& generally is) I’d also be the 1st to hold my hands up if Martin turned it around & of course I want him too.

Wood was undisclosed but I don’t think we paid very much for him. He’s been a good signing. Fisher and Sorinola I’d agree have been a waste of money

Don't worry penc Martin has wound me up on several occasions, fair dos he is sticking with 4 at the back and we seem to be doing ok, lets hope he sticks with that formation as we seem to be safer at the back and lets hope that we get a couple in before the end of the 31st, especially a striker with pace, barnes will do. I'm resigned to the fact that on the odd occasion I watch us live we put in a decent performance and try and win the game, that goes for every game btw 😀

What's the point in having a striker with pace when we go sideways and backwards all time,we need width and pace, his football bores me to death..

So we have an option to play long balls to forwards with pace, it will make the opposition think twice about pressing too far forward, we are easy to play against because we don't have pace as an outlet. I'm hoping we can sort it out for barnes to come as he's an experienced striker who can actually hold the ball up, piroe is a natural no 10 not a no 9. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I can imagine that Barnes earns a fair wedge which we aren't gonna be able to match, as much he would be able to help us with his experience I can't see this happening.

I've been told he's on 31k, I'm hoping that both clubs can come to an agreement re his wages.

Didn’t he wanted Fisher, Darling, Sorinola and and Stevens? If the manager can only work with players he wants we need another manager.

I will give you Fisher and Sorinola, darling is coming good and Stevens obviously wasn't Martin's signing.

He has a mistake in him, but he also has goals in him as well.

I'd prefer it if we got the defending bit right first. Been Eighteen months so far and no sign of that.

Doesn't matter still won't use the option, the amount times I gave seen piroe Cullen obafemi, make diagonal runs looking for the ball in the channel for it only to go sideways is mind boggling, put Usain bolt up there and we still won't use him

At the end of the season he'll be on nothing so he will need to be reasonable. Because I can't see any Club in the Champ being willing to pay a 33 year old anywhere near that amount.

Exactly john, as you say not many will take him on that wage, he will have to take a cut, let's hope we can come to an amicable agreement as I think he would be great for us, my burnley mates rate him highly.

Square pegs syndrome, given Lati a run at right back with us playing a back four may work if we didn't try and play central midfielders as wingers. Lack of personel or not prepared to give people a run in the team without instant success. Too many changes, so unable to build any momentum.
